Actually Le Miracle was an AMAZING closing of the concert, nothing like she ever did before!

I still don't know why they cut this cool ending after the first night in Antwerp

Sure a short capella encore of JNVOP was awesome too, but I wished they stayed with ending with LM

 

I agree, an open outro had never been done and was so cute for her to come back to the stage and finally leave during nanana. I wish I had heard LM live!

JNVOP acapella was great but it was too short. I mean they replaced a full song (LM) with not even a half of another... They should have had JNVOP in full!

Usually Celine always stays at The George V Hotel when she is in Paris. There are lots of videos over the years on youtube of Celine leaving or entering The George V Hotel on her visits.

Whoever has updated this page recently has included the benefit show in Trois-Rivières (making the total 27), but officially it's not part of the tour. Although I imagine they will use the same stage and setlist seeing as they will already have all the gear in Quebec.

I was dreaming to see her finally in concert this time but unfortunately I will be busy and travelling in July. However, I wish they would put the same enthusiasm in releasing new music and new performances of new songs as they do with releasing new dates for concerts, drop by drop.

 

I will say that Aldo is working really hard when they deliver a great French and English album that put Céline back to the place she deserves as a recording artist. When they prove they did their best to include the best songs out there, and above all, promote them decently (I'll never forgive another album like Sans Attendre with the song that gave the album its title, "Attendre", and has never been performed. Who understands that? ). But adding another date to the already generous list of dates she's giving in France? What achievement is that? What about visiting another country, adding a different city?...

 

I will also say they're working hard when they do a "fan concert" and she starts singing songs she has never performed before in concert, like other artists have already done.

 

Until then, everything remains to be seen to me An artist is not only a singing-machine who looks to be in a competition to be the singer with more concerts performed in her back... like Céline seems to do these days adding concerts either in Vegas or elsewhere (but always singing the same songs and rarely doing something new or different).

 

There are many fans who can't make to her concerts and still expect new music to be released with more frequence than Céline does these days (every 3-4 years), so no, I don't think Aldo is doing anything "out of this world" with her, just adding more concerts to her already more-than-extended career as a concert singer.

The way some people twist facts out of shape, taking things out of context...

 

Celine is staying true to her fans and to herself by going on with the concerts she had announced before Rene died. I am almost shocked to read that she is a singing-machine with the ambition to perform more than anyone! To begin with, she performs that much because she is still in demand. Unexpected demand, since the tour was announced with virtually no promotion and wasn't followed by any album or single release.

 

I also take it for a fact that the vast majority of fans is contented with the pace of her work and understands that each gap in her career was due to personal issues. She has been working hard, especially since 1990, releasing music in both English and French. Shas taken just about 6 years off during that time (2000-2001, then 2009-2011, and then 2015). To say that many fans complain is a lie. I've read tons of comments (people commenting under YT videos or articles) praising Celine for her decision to take some time off. And I've never taken notice of people expecting more releases from Celine. The irony of it all is that it's considered normal for the average singer to release music every 3 years or so. But not for Celine who's got 25 studio albums and about 2000 concerts on her back.

 

This is the kind of discussions and commentary I wish Celine or her team never read.

Everyone knows that it's much much easier for Céline to record a song and a new album within days than design a new show and take the road on tour. That happens even with a longuer interval of time than her album releases.

 

I didn't say she has to release a new album every time she starts a new show, but the countless amount of unreleased songs, pictures and albums waiting to be re-released are there, and is common knowledge how lazy her team is, everytime we see how they forget to celebrate the anniversary of her big albums and such. The same enthusiasm they have announcing new dates for her concerts could be used to celebrate her music and release a new single/unreleased song when she is silent for years (like 2006 or 2010-2011 period).That's easy-peasy for Céline, much more than taking the road and touring

 

However her team is more focused in milking the concert machine, either in Vegas or elsewhere, than caring for the artistry side of the singer and promoting the new material decently when the time comes. We've seen enough with Taking Chances, Sans Attendre and Loved Me Back To-laziness-Life (and as I've said dozens of times here, this is not Céline to blame, but her poor marketing team).

 

The money is in the concerts and tours, and her team knows this very well Not that Céline Dion is a singer who needs to break her a## touring the world to pay her bills, but at this point of her career one would wish she could care as much about creating new music (and promoting it) as she cares about performing live.

Huh? Yes her music is in demand. Especially her francophone music based on how much Sans Attendre sold. This is why she releases an album now, 4 years after her previous French release. Pretty much what she's been doing since 1987.

 

I might as well say that the so-called jail solely exists in your head. But I had missed that kinda of funny drama, I give you that.

Has it ever occured to you that these songs were unreleased for a reason? Like being bad? Cause I thought about this given the fact her English albums are 1/3 filler songs.

 

But whatever... not trying to change your expectations and wishes here. I just still think most fans have no issues with the frequency of her releases.
