It's a scary situation right now but the way I see it is that Celine has 3 kids that just lost their father so putting herself at risk is out of the question. I can see her cancelling at the drop of a hat!

 

Agree with you 1000x. It's completely different now with her being the only parent left. As for security at such a huge concert, can we see them checking every single person one by one, to be really sure? Those damn terrorists are prepared to be suicide bombers, they strap the bombs on themselves. As for it being okay to die at a Celine concert, maybe it was meant as a sort of joke, but what if something really happened, and Celine was killed. I know that I'm going overboard a bit here, it most probably won't happen, but there is that slight possibility it could happen, since it has already happened in France. Don't know if you heard, think it was last week or so, they arrested a guy in Holland that was making a bomb for another attack in France. Anyway, sorry for such a long quote, only my thoughts....... I agree life has to go on, but .........

I'm a bit disappointed. He was the opening act for the LTAL tour, and it feels kinda like recycling to go back to him. I saw him on the LTAL tour, and don't remember being too impressed (though I'm sure I wasn't paying a heck of a lot of attention as I was in a state of crazy excitement waiting for my first ever Celine concert to start.).

Was that the guy from the Golden Nugget thing in Las Vegas? I remember sitting there thinking ok guy, I am waiting for Céline so hurry up and go back under the stage lol!! He was okay, wasn't too horrible or anything.

Yeah lol. I think all of us were just excited and wanted Celine on the stage ASAP lol. I wasn't screaming for joy when he was onstage but all in all I think he did a very good job. I think comedian for a Celine tour is the way to go. The reason I believe this is because, musical opening acts are VERY tricky to figure out. You have to try and find a opening act performer who is along the lines of the performer that is headlining or else the audience may throw food lol. For example at a Celine Dion concert more people would rather have had a young and upcoming Josh Groban as the opening act than Lil Wayne lol. It's so hard to find that nowadays, but everyone loves to laugh and its just the safest choice that will entertain the majority of the people there.

That's very true, I didn't think about that. He lost me when he started the billy ray Cyrus joke I was like okay whatever dude, I don't care Céline just get on stage! but everyone loves to laugh so I think he's a good choice

I can remember that in Amsterdam at the taking chances tour there was a band before that totally missed the mark. They obviously did not do a proper soundcheck and nobody seemed to be interested. They played one or two songs before Celine was on stage

And just about that we are discussing this i read in an article today that Antwerp is in highest state of security now since a Jihadguy called his mother in Antwerp to stay away from crowded places. They are now investigating this 'rumour'.
