With a huge tour like this they will really waste a great opportunity to promote this new album properly

I'm just hoping they don't do the same TPOL, IACBTMN, BYLM medley. ABM in the middle with the usual MHWGO, PQTME encore. Like come on, we need a fresh new tour with a new set list. 2-3 songs from the new album? I'd be happy with 4 songs from it and then her Francophone repetoire that she has never EVER sung. Cherche Encore would be a dream come true (still don't understand why she has never sung it) and Et S'est Aimé à Cause, as well as Contre Nature, Rien N'est Vraiment Fini. She has said many times she's kind of sick of performing the same songs of hers, well most of us are sick of hearing it also lol... In the nicest way possible! This is true but if you listen to her in Vegas during one of the interludes she says it's our fault.....

I'm really excited to see what Scott does with the musical arrangements for this tour. I loved all the arrangements for Sur Les Plaines, even though we'll probably end up with a pretty generic setlist at least we can look forward to some new arrangements!

Yes, I LOVED the costumes chosen for the SA tour, I hope this tour brings some new, exciting wardrobe changes. The white jumpsuit from the SA tour was such a nice deviation from what she normally wears and I loved it!

I kind of agree with you... I really don't like the black dress (the stars are just too weird for me, it makes the gown look cheap IMO), I love the cut of the yellow dress but not a huge fan of the color-I think it would look better in red (but that kind of takes away the magic of her wearing a yellow dress for B&TB which I think is awesome). The silver-gold dress is okay, but I liked the original opening dress a lot more. The silver pant-dress is really fun and funky, but I also think they could have found something better... maybe something in I don't know, PURPLE! Something like this would be super fun and sexy:

The MHWGO dress is beautiful and I think that one can stay for a while... but it will need to be replaced before the contract is up for sure.

She needs more color for the tour. We have a lot of white, black and metallic in the vegas show which I also love and she looks great in. Just would be nice to have more colorful outfits imo!

Wouldn't it be cool if she did kind of a throwback to all her tours/appearances via her costumes, for example she can open the show with a set of uptempo songs from D'eux and wear an updated version of the black leather jumpsuit... something like this:

 

 

Then she can go into a set of songs from SSDA (SSDA, ONCP, DUAM). Add a black Obi belt, a fun play on the black jump suit and red obi she wore during the LTAL tour:

 

 

Then she can do a set from Incognito/DCP (Incognito, DMQS, JDDMT) and wear a little 80s-inspired outfit... can't find a good one at the moment... but you get the idea. Just a fun little nod that her die hard fans would get

I would love it she actually opened with an English song in Montreal. She did on the "Taking Chances World Tour" but that was an "English" tour, so probably not.

The black one is AMAZING. Mary J. Blige was wearing something similar when i saw her in in Montreux.

With the exception of the turquoise and yellow dresses, I'm not a fan of the Vegas outfits either. They look cheap and tacky IMHO. (Though I suppose that's very Vegas!)

 

I just hope she stays away from the Taking Chances tour look this summer. It had an awful Barbie-fake, trailer-trash feel. I can't bring myself to watch a lot of the footage from that era because of it, particularly the hair! Always looked like she had dumped an entire can of hairspray on her head. Ew. Really unattractive.

 

Hope she keeps it more natural this time around. Plus I'd love to see her eyes again without all that heavy eyeliner.
