Personally I think that any song included in a show should be the full version of the song.

 

yesssss... I'm so tired of medley and shortened versions of great songs...

 

So many complaints and foul-mouthed comments over the fillers of the tour. And from people who won't even attend. Some members love drama!

 

Even the choice of the fillers could be interesting and a treat for fans.

 

Of course there will be playback... but if she did OOR, IYAMT, TTWII, etc etc, she could easily record vocals during the rehearsals! So that's no excuse for using the same old songs over and over again

 

True! I'd forgive any playback if it was a NEW song. But the same tapes for the same songs... It's really become boring and... too obvious.

These are the articles I was talking about later today. Jackie Lombard is the french producer of big stars who come to France : Streisand, McCartney , Jackson and our beloved Celine Dion. She has repeated the same thing in all those articles : these shows will be really different ( because of Rene's death I guess) but also that Celine will perform every evening in for 13000 people in bercy. She says also : "Celine will surprising the audience", in a good way I hope !

I would love if she put MHWGO/IACBTMN/TPOL into a stripped down medley. It would be less English songs, and would free up the encore for something like Quand On N'a Que L'amour, which could be legendary! I love the way they did this version of MHWGO, would love if they did my proposed medley in the same fashion

hmmm very short rehearsals... she had her last show 8 days ago... I know she has been rehearsing a bit while performing in Vegas but still I don't have high hopes for the setlist... It's too short to rehearse sth really new/surprising

I'm sure she's either at Four Seasons George V or the one where she stayed last time, Le Royal Monceau. George V is the hotel that she has always stayed at...but Le Royal Monceau was the one she stayed at in 2013.

I hope we get youtube videos of Celine leaving her hotel, with fans yelling her name. I can never get enough of those fan videos. They seem to happen less and less these days. Ever since instagram came along, people don't post long videos of autograph signings and fan greetings anymore.

 

For anyone traveling to Paris or lives in Paris and are seeing Celine. I hope they post fan videos to youtube.

I was thinking that there is not much rehearsing needed for her Vegas repertoire, so maybe all time was spend on the new songs?

Guys, what are you talking about? How is it possible to have 80% of the Vegas setlist with one song in french on a french tour? She had 2 MONTHS off, so she had plenty of time to rehearse, Jesus!

So can we clarify? What / when is she filming this week and do we know when it's due to air?

 

There's the M6 Variety Special shooting on the 15th (and Coeur de pirate is also a guest! So glad to see her and Celine on the same show. I was really hoping she'd be the opening act for this tour, not Andre Philippe Gagnon).

 

And then there's the France 2 shoot... or two?

I understand there's some kind of a cinema-focused show, in which Celine is to participate.

And then there's the full Celine special, apparently to air in Oct? (Which, btw, seems worryingly late. Hopefully that doesn't mean they're pushing the album release even further!)

I was just on facebook of the sportpaleis reading reviews:

 

There was a girl complaining she had to leave her pocketcamera in a paid locker(5 euros) and there was also someone said she had to go through a metaldetector and was not allowed to take her cellphone in !

A pregnant woman that used the light of her cellphone to find her seat was taken out of the venue..

 

I was about to take my good compactcamera with me but this time hiding it is not possible since we all have to pass metaldetectors.. safety above all but not being able to make photos or film..that is a big bummer!

People that went to Adele last week were advised to come 45min earlier ( i think because of the metal detectors)

Since this also might apply to us..we are warned now
