LOOOL! Me too! That performance is memorable to me :blush: . Back in those days, you could notice the power, freshness and energy of her voice in every note of the song . Not a sign of tiredness nor weariness (unlike today)

Ι also expect the setlist of this tour to be quite similar to the previous one. But I hope they put an effort to give us new, interesting arrangements like they did with JSP!

 

I think your setlist is OK, but I don't see Celine singing TPOL full, nor going for TLYM. The rest of it is very possible! I would only add PAMP, her longest running hit.

 

Finally, I doubt that at this point of his life and career JJG will appear on stage. So congrats you don't die, you get to live!

I mostly liked the performance of LDSLP in Paris because I could really feel the anticipation of the crowd shortly before JJG got on stage.

 

And a second favorite moment of mine is him singing SSDA at stade de France and then Celine singing the song with the fans!

 

Iconic moments IMO!

Come on guys, she isn't going to sing the show 100% live, anything English in her french shows is always either playback or lcmm/rdmh, etc... the usual crap, fill in material or big hitz. IACBTMN/Tpol is just the expected break she always takes, wouldn't be surpised if mhwgo playback makes a return for the tour... what other option does she have besides throwing in the reason or maybe wdmhbn like she did the last tour... I'm more focused on the fact that unlike 2008 tour she seems to just be doing a handful of English songs. Yall should be happy that she is doing 2/3 french songs and 1/3 English instead of the opposite. But of course, I come on here to find the usual complaining about setlist. I'm not expecting anything to be much different than 2013. We got some surprises last time in regard to french songs, maybe we will this time. If not, I'm still looking forward to seeing a french show of hers for the first time and on my birthday!!

Exactly. I've got nothing against playback. It gives her voice a break during the shows. But I am hoping over the next few years on tour and in lv a few things will get changed. And if only she'd bring back the ones you mentioned etc we'd be really happy bunnies! They're her hits too, they need to remember that 😂

I think they're gonna broadcast it at some point? They said they were gonna film and show it on some channel. I can't remember which, or if it was one of those paid things, but I think I do remember what you're referencing

I hope its not just a cheap stage and two screens behind her ,she has to top beyonce in her last tour,so much incredible production i have to say ,she even dances in water on stage i dont know how?

If it is a major concert, they will make it so incredible with the productions like her Taking Chances World Tour like it will last for a year not just for a 27 shows. I think it will have the same look/feel like her last tour (Sans Attendre Tour). I think we'll have to wait for her english album which is next year but the tour i think will start 2018.

Well everybody I'm in paris now. I see adele layer today or tomorrow depending on time zone lol. Then celine on June 21 for my birthday. I may nave to avoid this place and Facebook both to avoid spoilers. I'm close enough to a premiere to where I'm gonna go in relatively unspoiled

Did we ever figure out whether she's bringing along the orchestra? I would assume at least a subset of them would tag along, since we got some indication from Scott & others that they've been rehearsing some of the tunes with orchestra in LV.

Yes they talked about TF1 channel, but in fact it's M6 channel that promoted the show in France... Weird.

I remember also that Celine's French producer said in some interview that the show is going to be really different and bigger than the last one.

Finally, I had some time to come back to this topic!

 

Lol I'm secretly hoping that DUAM gets relegated to a medley, as much as I like the song. Then have an older song come back in its place - Priere Paienne, Je Ne Veux Pas, Delivre Moi for examples.

 

I'm so afraid DUAM will open (again) the show....

 

It depends on what the other additions will be, hoping for a few surprises! Think I was slightly disappointed with the MHWGO /PQTME finale - IF it's true. Loved it when she ended on Le Miracle 😆

 

 

Yes, I thought they would finally mix up the end. Because now it seems it will be the one used for AND, TCWT, C no1, USF and C no1 (LCMM/RDMH/MHWGO + PQTME). of course PQTME wasn't at the end during AND for instance but what I mean it's been also always in the same place during francophone concerts.... Why can't they at least move those songs... I thought that after Rene's passing they would also experiment with moving MHWGO somewhere. It's doable especially in a French setlist... but well... they're too lazy.

 

There is only really one English song that "needs" to be part of a French tour - "My Heart Will Go On." (Heck, excluding "My Heart Will Go On" would actually show she has some balls and is willing to try something new to show an attempt at being artistic.) Everything else, especially the annoyingly tiresome "Love Can Move Mountains/River Deep Mountain High" medley are beyond unnecessary. If they want a big, bombastic, uptempo segment, "A cause" would work smashingly well.

 

I agree. When it comes to French shows, only MHWGO has to be included. And especially for those who say that English songs don't matter during French concerts and that no one should complain to have ABM/TPOL/IACBTMN/RDMH/LCMM all over again it's a perfect opportunity to take some rest from those songs and either include only French songs or other English shows, just to have fun with something different for once. After all, when you do the same things at your work, it always gets boring. So I don't understand why they can't give a rest to songs they perform daily in Vegas in the very same arrangement and order...

 

Why did i read these spoilers? Please Celine be more creative: why repeating these worn out songs over and over..tour after tour..again? This is a new show so why again these so called fanfavorites? Get rid of them once and for all please? And you may love lcmm so much. We don't..it has been sung way way to many times!
