Anyone blaming Celine here, and only Celine, is being very unfair. We all know that Celine likes to turn up, sing and then leave as quickly as possible. We all know the songs she is comfortable singing. Is anyone approaching Celine with new ideas and song suggestions? If not they are not doing the job they are being paid to do! Why have a musical director who doesn't come up with new ideas? Acoustic set in Vegas? Brilliant! Bring THAT on tour!

 

Yes Celine could be more artistic but she PAYS other people to design her stage, lighting and yes, probably, set lists too! Really really unfair just blaming Celine here. She has management and a musical director for these things. THEY are the ones totally out of touch with what a fresh, current and interesting set list looks like.

Okay yes but she has a final say i assume. You are right. It is her team mostly. But still hope she proves us wrong and comes with unexpected choices:)

I'm like everyone here. Tired of the same old songs. Wish she would choose different songs. I was hoping more French since it's a French tour.

 

If they HAVE to add English songs, why not do DOL, FIY, and CTM & say we chose these songs to celebrate the 20th year anniversary of FIY. Hell, IACBTMN in full 7.5 mins. in concert would be enough to celebrate at this point!

 

Add, MHWGO and TSMGO (since it's her current English single) with a song from LMBTL (preferably not Incredible), and we are go to go in the English department!

I've got a feeling that the show is gonna be pretty much similar to the 2013 tour. Replace some «Sans attendre» songs by some new ones, and you got it.

 

I doubt they will dare get rid of these IACBTMN/POL and LCMM/RDMH medley. Sadly. And the MHWGO/PQTME finale.

I can't believe how people are so worked up.... We have no idea what the set list will be..... If I rememeber .....the fans were happy with the 2013 set list..... How can you complain before we even knows hat it's going to be like?

Come on guys, she isn't going to sing the show 100% live, anything English in her french shows is always either playback or lcmm/rdmh, etc... the usual crap, fill in material or big hitz. IACBTMN/Tpol is just the expected break she always takes, wouldn't be surpised if mhwgo playback makes a return for the tour... what other option does she have besides throwing in the reason or maybe wdmhbn like she did the last tour... I'm more focused on the fact that unlike 2008 tour she seems to just be doing a handful of English songs. Yall should be happy that she is doing 2/3 french songs and 1/3 English instead of the opposite. But of course, I come on here to find the usual complaining about setlist. I'm not expecting anything to be much different than 2013. We got some surprises last time in regard to french songs, maybe we will this time. If not, I'm still looking forward to seeing a french show of hers for the first time and on my birthday!!

Well she is so good in French so i am really excited to be there again! Only a few weeks to go!

Yeah, but that was for an album she was kinda trying to promote at the time. Not the case here. Hopefully that means they've dedicated more time to french songs. It is a french show. The 8 English songs listed are fine. Any more and it takes away from what the show should be

Ι also expect the setlist of this tour to be quite similar to the previous one. But I hope they put an effort to give us new, interesting arrangements like they did with JSP!

 

I think your setlist is OK, but I don't see Celine singing TPOL full, nor going for TLYM. The rest of it is very possible! I would only add PAMP, her longest running hit.

 

Finally, I doubt that at this point of his life and career JJG will appear on stage. So congrats you don't die, you get to live!
