WHOA. That seems really interesting. Where'd you hear that? I'm trying to be really vague with my questions so it doesn't spoil it for others lol all I'm gonna say is perhaps DUAM is gone. Not that I would mind that at all!!!

In my mind, the 6 fan favorites that Céline sang during the 2013 tour (Immensité, Je Crois Toi, Terre, Tout L'or Des Hommes, Regarde-moi and Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas) should be gone this time. As much as I love them all, I'd prefer them to stay as a great memory from that 2013 mini-tour and leave room for new surprises.

 

We should expect Encore Un Soir, Ordinaire and maybe one more song from the new album, the typical French hits she always sings, 5 or 6 English songs and (I pray for) some French fan-favorites like the previous tour.

 

By the way, as much as I enjoyed these 6 songs coming back to the stage back in 2013, I definitely prefer 6 songs that she's never sung live before. Something like Cherche Encore, Contre Nature (which seems to be a realistic option since she performed it once during the promo for 1F&4T), Je Lui Dirai (Same), On S'est Aime à Cause (an intimate acoustic version for René) or Tous Les Blues Sont Écrits Pour Toi.

 

But let's face it, at the end of the day I won't complain regardless of what she may sing or not

Weird choice. I mean nobody knows the song (as the album is not out) and the original isn't so well-known either... If it was for Quebec setlist, I wouldn't be so surprised, but here... definitely interesting. And anything is better than DUAM!

 

I think we will def get show must go on and maybe prince medley too

Please NO! TSMGO has its comeback definitely (because of the circumstances and because it was rehearsed) but seriously if you want to hear prince medley, go to Vegas. That's the whole point of doing a DIFFERENT tour to create a new setlist, new ideas, not using all the time the same things. We've seen so many times how overused material becomes boring and awful, predictable and uncreative (LCMM/RDMH at the end for instance). Some things have to stay where they are to remain special.

 

An easy surprise would be to revive the plamondon medley from usf.... I'd freak put and piss my pants if she sang dmqs...

 

 

PLEASE! YES YES YES! It's uptempo, it could easily even REPLACE LCMM/RDMH moment. It's sth she hasn't done much, something that was revived only for USF... and DMQS :blush:

I disagree. Of course we would ALL love to hear Cherche encore but it will never happen. But seriously it'd be so much better to keep I, JCT, TLDH or JNVOP (in full please!) than DUAM, JOTI etc. Some songs were performed zillions of tims and these ones are still considered as fresh. And nobody is tired of them.

I wouldn't care about the difference in her voice as long as she would perform them!

We did not think it was possible to bring her whole orchestra on stage at the billboard's but she did! I hope and you never know, that she brings her full orchestra with her:)

Judging by facebook, a lot of her usual LV orchestra members are now doing other things, which leads me to suspect she might only be taking a subset of them along, and perhaps hiring some local musicians to complete the set?

 

 

hmmm very short rehearsals... she had her last show 8 days ago... I know she has been rehearsing a bit while performing in Vegas but still I don't have high hopes for the setlist... It's too short to rehearse sth really new/surprising

Well she started rehearsing in LV, then did several days in Montreal (up to Sat, I believe) and then according to reports here was back at it by Sun in Paris! Sounds to me like she's rehearsing around the clock! (pretty commendable given the jet lag... don't tire yourself out before this even begins Celine!)

We know what hotel Celine is staying at because RC was spotted leaving there hotel. Is there any pics or videos of Celine leaving or entering her hotel yet?

 

I hope we get something. I love the fan videos, where Celine is signing autographs and the fans are chanting her name. I'm surprised that there aren't any Celine pics or videos posted of her in Paris yet.

Yes. You are right on that one. Celine's security and safety is most important, especially with the Paris attacks that have already occurred, the recent attack in Orlando, and the tragic shooting of Christina Grimmie where her life was cut way to short. I want to see Celine interacting with her with fans and everything, but I certainly want Celine's safety to be priority above anything else.

They both have the most views on youtube and they are uptempo. They're fan favourites. They haven't been sung in full for years. And when you see their performances, TTWII from World's Children's Day for instance, you can see the spark in the eye, you can feel the positivity, you can see how much fun Celine is having dancing to TTWII, how she can actually sing it live. I don't know but the spark and the smile from 2002 never came back. Never in that way. It's a shame they neglect her biggest last hits (only IA and IDAN can be also considered as hits from this very long period!). Give them a try! Imagine TTWII a la WCD as the ultimate uptempo encore. Could be so much fun

I have to disagree... We got a glimpse of it on the TCWT when she sang ANDHC but that was soon removed.... Why nobody knows....I loved it....even if she did mess up... It sounded amazing...

This is a french tour so let's be realistic, IA was listed as an English song rehearsed and since the other two songs in acoustic medley were not mentioned it will most likely be the TCWT version used in Jamaica. End of story.
