I’m generally good at acronyms and have learned them all by now but the one I had the most trouble with was IYCSIYHTSI.

 

lol that is just torture (I figured it out quickly, but still!)

 

Also, isn't that song just called Mr Paganini?

One day maybe she will dust off some of these songs! Does anyone know examples of her jumping into her old songs randomly as an older singer aka post-2000 (except for Ce netait qu'un reve) .... I know we have the second video, which I'll share too.

Back in November of 2012, she suddenly sang a bit of C'est Pour Toi in the French TV show C à Vous. Unfortunately the video is not online...

Also during Le Banquier in 2013, she mentioned the song Trop Jeune à Dix-Sept Ans.

"Toi Sur La Montagne" is particularly one I want to hear her do! C'mon Celine, get bored one day and do a quarantine video filming! Also, I dunno why but I can so clearly imagine her doing "Mamy Blue" in her Courage tour voice...for some reason it just seems to fit. Maybe it's because I think if she did it entirely in chest voice as she did on the record, it would sound the same as it did then lol...given all the years.

I ask too when I don't know, which is often, but with repetition a few have stuck by now. I think ABM (All By Myself), MHWGO (My Heart Will Go On), and IACBTMN (It's all coming back to me now) are the most commonly used ones.

 

TCOML - the color of my love, was a particularly very tricky one! HYEBIL have you ever been in love too

Me too especially with the french songs. The english songs I can figure out after some thinking but the french songs is almost always a miss for me.

Yes, I chose cruel ones to be a bit naughty :devilwave: :goof: :blush: The fact that she sings in French adds a whole different element to the game lol.

I just remembered, isn't there an interview (in 2012?) where she sings "ma chambre"...just for a brief moment, I think after some TV interviewer shows her a clip of the old days, possibly her on a show with Jean Pierre Ferland?

Her performance of If I Could from 11:44 to the end of this video is her best I think...

What an amazing ending she did! A 16 seconds run...

I wish we would have the entire performance...

It was great indeed! I think I only remember her doing a similar run one other time at the end of that song, but not as extensively

Edit: I always enjoy watching her watch her old performances. I get the feeling she is judging that little girl and her singing abilities in a way, wanting her to get every note right and being very proud of her(self).
