The first one was at the Midem, in Cannes. Celine gave a special show of the "D'Eux tour" with special guests : Jean-Jacques Goldman, Richard Cocciante & Bryan Adams.

Ah so that performance was in Cannes. Thanks for the info! :)

Start at 45:50 and go to 46:50 and you can see some of the performance! It sounds vocally stellar.

Is there anywhere to watch the full performance? I don't think I've ever seen it.

I’m pretty sure that’s the only recording we have

I wanted to use « L’hymne à l’amitié » in my Instagram story today, and this was the only version they had... my new theme song for the day!

That's such a shame. I bet the whole performance is amazing. I wish her team would start to upload these live performances things to her YouTube channel.

Thank you. Those vocals💛. I wish we have the full version.

BTW, wasn't 90's music the best? Maybe I'm just getting old but pop music these days is just boring. It lacks something, maybe energy or vocals or passion. I don't know, just know I don't care for it.

That footage would be harder to track down...would have to track down whoever made the documentary and then find the footage just from that concert (assuming it's the same team)...but there are some performances that are in full that they could easily throw up online...put all of her Grammy performances live in HD up!

I don't think they can put up her Grammy performances without permission from the producers of the Grammy awards show. No artist owns the right to their performances from awards shows. Whoever owns the Grammys/Emmys/Oscars owns those and can put them on their own channels.

This video brings back an old doubt of mine. Back in the 2017 or 2018 tour, Céline did the ending part of All By Myself 100% live at one show. Does anybody have a video of that? I can't remember the exact date.

I don't remember a performance without the playback since she added in late 2016 but I'd be curious to see it if you do remember.

Yes, I think you’re right, but I assume these big organizations would be easier...or at least quicker... to deal with than smaller ones

I agree. It feels more money driven these days. Sure the labels always want to make money. In the past I feel it was more about making the best product compared to now.

Is there more of the performance? Even an audio? It sounds amazing!!

That’s all we have! But she performed it on Taratata and it sounded somewhat similar

They could start with all the performances they already have in their vault. It's probably a lot. It's so frustrating that there is so many amazing performances and concerts out there that we might never get to see.

The Grammy's should upload it to their channel then. If no artists own the rights to their performances, the Grammy's should upload old (or all) performances to their channel. It's not like it's that many of them. It's only once a year, and it would be great promotion for the Grammy's and the artist.

The only thing I take issue with is your use of the would “should.” If you’re ever in therapy, you learn to erase “should” do anything. No business or organization is required to do anything other than what the law states. Otherwise, telling a company they “should” do something is just a “want” that you personally have and you recognize you have no control over the company as you done own it. A company is perfectly within their rights to record their shows/performances but nothing states that they “should” or in any obligation to release said material.

And I understand that’s frustrating for many people to accept but welcome to show business!

There are 61 years of Grammys telecasts. That would be a lot of performances to go through and upload.

And many would have to be digitized from the 60s 70s 80s 90s and 00s
