When I asked him how he got the entire show, he told me that it was thanks to a contact he has on Feeling Productions.

Actually, she did a lot of takes from this part and some parts of the songs. I think they’re experimenting it first if they will fit in some parts but I remember Céline did a belting part in the background. I can’t see them anymore in YouTube

I've seen a different video as well, not sure if it's the same one as you mention (I'll link below). But yes, I stand by that it seems very chaotic and unorganized...seems like they had almost everyone do their parts in one day, Quincy had so many people in his ear as he crossed names off a list, Celine had multiple people tell her what to do, Barbra had to ask for more direction, etc.

 

Still I enjoy the end product.

Well that is a shame. Then I'm wondering how much of this stuff that is out there that people can't or won't share?

I mean the possibility is that there are lots of people with concerts dvds and we could potentially have professionally filmed concerts with at least dvd quality from probably every tour. Because I bet they record most if not all concerts since they film for the screens at place so why not record when you're at it.

So sad anyway....

Yes, you’re probably right. There are TONS of unreleased material that they could release but, for whatever reason, they don’t. I think what’s most hurtful and/or frustrating for most of you on here is when someone has a copy of something and they share 30 seconds of it on social media to say “See! Look what I have that you don’t have! I get to enjoy this every day and you never will. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA” And I can certainly understand that.

Yes, you’re probably right. There are TONS of unreleased material that they could release but, for whatever reason, they don’t. Agreed. It’s a concert from 23 years ago for Christ’s sake. They could add some silly watermark or something.

The person who owns it would get in A LOT of trouble if it was discovered that they shared it. My husband works for (now AT&T, used to be Time Warner before AT&T bought it) and works in corporate communications. Because of that we get press screeners of everything that airs on HBO. All of their series, movies, documentaries. If I were to post them on social media, he’d be fired.

I really like Céline’s positive attitude. And looking at Rene i kinda miss him seeing together with Céline and his voice.

And on top of that, they could put the footage as unlisted on Youtube and only give the link to a select number of folks.

 

The number of people clamoring to watch a concert from Celine Dion's first major world tour from the 1990s isn't that great. It wouldn't upend their world.

I totally agree with you. I just know how businesses work and they don't see things the same way as you and I. As we can all attest to the many YouTube videos that get blocked for copyright infringement. Every business if different but some take these things very seriously. Maybe Celine's team is one of those?

The person who had the Hyde Park concert said he had to sign a contract which stipulated that he couldn't share the content.

 

These are probably standard contracts that make you pay crazy amounts if a leak can be traced back to you.

It really doesn't matter how old the concert is or how many people are interested in it.
