It's definitely her forgotten album.I tend to think of it as an album of lullabies....and lullabies aren't really meant for most people lol.

I think we're still at the same place as we were. I can't say how much it costs to do post-production or even how much possible work there would need to be done (maybe someone has more knowledge), but it would appear from the snippet Celine sounds just fine. And the visuals look just fine. They could even market it as raw and uncut footage, as people hunger for that style too.

 

My guess is her team already has the skills and the available time, but that's a guess.

 

They just released a behind the scenes with Barbra from their duet, and they won't be making any money on that so they already proved they are capable of pleasing the fans.

Oh my, a dream has come true!!! I finally found another recording of Celine’s Vegas return after Rene passed away. Here is a different night recording of her covering Barbra’s “One More Look//Watch Closely Now”

 

It makes me so emotional to see her feeling the song so much. So much better than opening night.

It probably resonates more with first-time parents of a newborn (Céline wasn't at the time, but it hadn't been that long since RC was born), but to most of the rest of us the album is a boring snoozefest. I don't love how her voice sounds on it, either - it might be the production rather than her delivery, but something sounds off. It does have one strong song, though - In Some Small Way is a good track. Everything else would be fine as a one-off or a b-side or something similar, but as an album it just draaaaaaaaaaags oooooooooooon fooooooreeeeeeeveeeeeeer...

I actually just found that someone uploaded it to Youtube! And to my knowledge, she did it many times for the first few round of shows.

 

This performance was from March 11 apparently, and she came back on February 23rd...so there's more out there most likely!

I feel like this song is Barbra Streisand's equivalent of "Hard Way"... it's gospel, but at age 55 when she recorded this, the vocals in the last two minutes are just so impressive! Really strong high notes, including some F5s I think.
