I don't believe she'd just give away her location like that (paparazzi are all over it now).

 

Im a little worried that her team felt pressured to post something 'new' but couldn't obtain actual recent footage? Do they even know how to reach her? Lol

and stay quiet as her new album got abandoned by her?

 

I see what other fans do, and they do campaign via twitter/instegram

and they manage to influence their artist. Mariah fans called "Lambs", but they are quite of a fighters

I tell you, I wonder what name best fit to describe Celine fans with no mean to hurt anybody

 

Well, I, for one, as a Céline fan am pretty calm, take life as it is and don’t fret over things that aren’t happening. I don’t care if she promotes her music. I just care that she releases it so that I can listen to it. I could not care less about YouTube streams, TikTok or whatever the hell else. There are a BUNCH of Celine fans like me. I’d actually say the majority.

 

Then you’ve got another large group of Celine fans. The ones who complain on here, who desperately want the summer tours and Vegas and BST released; however, once you start talking about what would actually have to be done to launch a campaign that had any hope of working, they go silent or say “I’m too busy with my life to put that much effort in.”

 

There are a few fans who will created a tweet, write on Sony or Celine’s official social media pages and complain that enough isn’t being done. They come across as whiny children stomping their feet on the ground because Mommy isn’t giving them what they want and they are completely ignored. Eventually, they turn into one of the two fans mentioned above.

An American currently can't enter for tourism or leisure, only essential travel allowed. And of course, Canadians always allowed to come home (as I did, and I think there were maybe 10 people on my flight from NYC to Toronto). Government tracks you to ensure self-isolation for 14 days (I got phone calls daily; if you don't pick up they show up in person). Closure currently extended until Sept 21st, at least.

 

I'd like to be the official who calls Celine daily to make sure she's not leaving her farm and has people who bring her groceries!

 

I'm very aware of the rules but somehow I know a couple who made it to Canada (and nothing essential)... Not too sure if they just made up some story but they made it.

Maybe Lambs are fighters but does that actually translate into major music sales/streaming for Mariah or selling out concerts? It's clear it doesn't, even if they were able to get one song to #1 on iTunes (or Amazon I can't remember). Being #1 on iTunes for a day doesn't mean much really.

Sometimes I’m thoroughly shocked at people’s demands. I can’t believe it. It helps me to see and understand why the world is in the state it is in. This message board is a microcosm of the world as a whole. And it’s every message board. The Broadway world message board - just as insane. The Doctor Who message boards - worse than anything else. "The two fans mentioned above". You're something special, her musical career is sninking down and you try to paint

everything in pink colors. If you take this caring of fans for her and to her career only for whining,

you should make a reality check. She went ahead and record an album and she said she poured

her heart into it, but in reality she did everything to destroy it.

And yes she is part of it too, she always says that she is the Boss and she call the shoots.

TC sucks, but they're not the only one in that story. There are veteran artists out there, that treat their work

with respect.

 

And please don't come with the family thing, because for fashion shows she was there for day and night

fully dedicated herself to that, while a new song was out and got the worst promo ever. If not for the bounding I'm afraid to think

what position Courage would had achieved, and yet, people will remember the negative historic record

of Courage falling down from charts only after one week. If you think that won't impact her next album English

you live in denial. And in the near future tour selling tickets

won't be that great, oh let's not forget how many tickets were given away in a ridiculous price

because they had to fill in seats, also for the festivals she planned to make.

Firstly, I respect Mariah and I was a fan in the 90s, but her voice is gone. And yes, it's amazing how she promotes her (old) music and treats her fans.

Secondly, we don't know what's going on in Celine's Team, but she needs a new one and I hope she realises that. So I hope for the best for the next months.

I thought we all agreed by now but I’ll say it again: Mariah is nowhere near Céline when it comes to commercial success and being relevant these days. Not in album sales, not in streaming and certainly not in touring. Yes, she’s more involved than Céline in her career but when you look at the bigger picture, it’s a whole different story. Even with perhaps the worst team in the world, the numbers are clearly on Céline’s side.

 

Where did I write that she is doing better than Celine? It was only impressive to see that by clever promotion

they managed to bring MC's Christmas album to top charts, against new recent albums

but my point is that the actual abandonment of Celine career

will have its own impacts for the long term on her English career and ticket sells

and that's pity because I do think she pulled out a pretty decent work

lots better than LMBTL. During these last months it's just amazing they couldn't step foward with one valuable

stuff that has to do with her recent work. To bring back Courage to life

When the general public thinks about Celine he can only think of "that singer of the titanic"

A top 10 on iTunes is really not a big deal. Even Celine manages to get that!

first, obviously there are people that work for her and are in change of her accounts, so she does have a team (an intelligent person like you should be able to think that far...).
