rhapsodion Posted December 12, 2019 at 12:59 PM Posted December 12, 2019 at 12:59 PM Thanks for the world chart updates! Seems like sales in Europe hasn't been doing that well either. I understand we cannot compare the chart runs of LMBTL with this as the industry has changed a lot. I am curious how this will impact Celine down the road. Will this give Sony less incentive to spend money on her? Will the general public finding her irrelevant, and will she still be able to continue selling out concerts few years down the road? Maybe Celine has reached the status that she will always have good numbers with her tour, and album sales or whether she sings new songs in the concert don't matter anymore, people will still show up at her concerts. It will also be interesting to see how well the concerts tickets are selling in Europe next round, as Celine has already done concerts there in the past couple years basically with very similar setlist. But if she continues to sell, then there we go. Quote

If you go by poor sales, then Mariah and Madonna would also be out of a label, and many more artists too.Courage is doing okay worldwide. 1 Quote

superstar85ca Posted December 13, 2019 at 12:56 AM Posted December 13, 2019 at 12:56 AM When I think about promoting the album I'm not talking about charts and selling albums. Maybe more promo wouldn't have made her sell more albums, but where is her interest in singing her new songs? That's what bothers me the most. She's shown no interest at all for the album. She enjoys a lot of things nowadays but when it comes to singing she's become a machine. There's no interest at all in presenting the new songs. And also, like some of you said, she needs a REAL manager NOW. Dave Platel may know a lot about tours, but she needs someone modern that know what to do in 2019 in music industry. I'm not talking about the genre of her music, but strategies, her management seem stucked in the 90s. Enviado desde mi SM-A305G mediante Tapatalkyeah since she is on a world tour called "Courage" and released a brand new album called "Courage" one would think that most of the songs she would be singing would be from "Courage". Like I said before to see her in concert - I'll take anything from the new album over Beauty and The Beast or Lady Marmalade 2 Quote
