So celine has time to visit cats and different ballet shows but doesn’t have time to do some promo? I know she is out enjoying herself and that’s really nice to see but she has just dropped her first album in 6 years....

 

Also no remixes for this album other than FOMO?

I agree with you and with the holidays ahead I do not see her doing rehearsals for new songs. Of course she will spend that time with her family and friends.

The Hard Way took some time for me to really sink in. I couldn't grasp the words but now I'm in love with it!

Sure she could sell an extra 50k or 100k extra albums but it won't make that much of a difference at the end of the day.

I can understand that. But at the same time, she's still in the Top 20 in the UK without any TV performance.

It will be interesting to see if she performs any Courage song on TV in the next little while. Or just more interviews without performing...

He has a very big fanbase surplus from around 16-25 with alot of old One Direction fans plus new ones from his solo career, considering hes only been solo for 2 years and is doing very well in arena shows id say hes doing great.

But then why releasing an album mid November to beneficiate the Christmas sales boost, during a low competition week to have a number one (with a bundle help) if you don't care about sales, charts, public image and if you don't want to work during the holidays?

That doesn't make sense. It is disrespectful in work ethics regards.

 

She can do whatever she wants; literally. You don't care about sales, don't like to promote and want to spend holidays with your family? Release your album in February.

Otherwise, do your job.

Her job is to sing to the crowd. She always enjoys singing and connect to the audience.

She mentioned already in an interview. It was Rene who chased number 1, charts, sales, promo. For her, those things at her current time of her career, no point of chasing those

I'm talking about performing your songs and allowing the art you create reach people by just, I don't know... expose the public to it.

That's what an artist do. But obviously she's more of a performer now.

 

That circles back to what I said: if your job is to perform on tour and don't care about your album, don't record it in the first place.

If you choose to record it, then allow it to live a bit - which doesn't mean aiming the sky.

 

Actually, regarding what's going on, I don't think Sony will invest much in a new album next time. She'll become a full touring artist with decades old songs. I know it's the normal path. Just think it's a tiny bit early since she still has a great voice for recording music.

You sound envious (maybe jealous)??

Do you seriously think Celine decides when the album comes out?

Obviously she wanted to start the tour early, so I think she would have preferred the album to come out earlier. But Sony makes that decision!

And when Sony picked Nov. 15 as release date, they didn't know for sure who else would decide to release their album that same week. Some artists do surprise releases, so anything could have happened after they picked Nov. 15 (which was announced a few months earlier so nothing was set in stone).
