UK have put the tv advert out and it's everywhere. Might be why chart position is holding?

 

I don't get why they haven't done that earlier!? Sony Music NL said they only would do radio and online ads... I don't get that!

I do not know what you Guys think But even though it is a great album i feel less interested because of Celine's lack of interest. It is in my cdplayer But i have not played it much because of that. I feel her disinterest in promoting the great songs makes me disappointed and loose interest as well.

Honestly, it doesn’t sound great. Thank god Céline included this song to her album and sounds better than Katy’s version

The album is not getting old even after listening to it at least 100 times. I have to say Falling In Love Again is becoming my favorite from this album and getting way up there on my all time Celine faves. It just proved that all this lady needs is a piano and her voice (or a guitar and her voice).

Would you play a bad album juts because it is promoted? I'm also very disapointed on the lack of promo, but it doesn't take away the fact that it's a great album. At the end of the day that's what matters. But again, this will be her less promoted album and is a pity.

I can understand what he is saying. Since we are having a strong connection to Celine sometimes it helps to her her connecting with her songs.

 

With that said, I am loving the album irrespective of how poorly she is treating it. I play it again and again - enjoy every song!

Not sure why, but I am also feeling Pepe has a bad influence on her. They are certainly having fun which is amazing to see given what she has been through... but I am still thinking that her attachment to Pepe and the things that come with him - fashion, dancing, photos, events - have contributed to her 'not-giving-a-s***' attitude.

I'm not quite sure about that. While I agree that the creativity on this tour and the promo for this album are nowhere to be found, I must say that Céline is old and mature enough to know what to do for herself. But I understand your vision, many fans think that way.

yes totally, the album requires a few listens before actually appreciating it. to hear the lyrics, get used to the melodies, absorb the different "voices" she sings with.

I’m really not sure but my feeling would be the opposite. I see what s good in this show; mainly the videos. under Pepe’s impulse. And more globally her whole creativity, Dionnaissance, and collaborations outside music, which is huge and important. This is where she is having fun right now, where she finds acknowledgment and confort, where she feels creative and can take risk more easily, with a new fresh aspect She has an amazing guidance for that; Pepe. And she is doing amazing as per the media and critics are expressing.

 

She would need that same guidance for her music. The same imput, a guy she would connect with and with whom she would find the same fun and creativity. This set list is her, that s what she wants to sing and also a big part of her heritage from René. Saying that she needs someone is not pejorative in my mind. I guess that s how she wants and needs to work, with people, with imput, people giving her new interest, showing her new ways. Like Pepe is doing amazingly in his own field.

No, what she NEEDS is to be allowed to live her life exactly as she wants to - doing exactly what she wants to do. If she doesn’t want to promote new music, she doesn’t have to. If she’d rather walk around the streets in wacky outfits - guess what? It’s HER life. Let her enjoy it! May Celine is no longer passionate about music - maybe she no longer lives and breathes music. People change.

 

Someone posted somewhere in a thread a quote of Celine saying she doesn’t care about the numbers and the sales - she cares about seeing the people live in front of her going wild. And, whether any of you all like it or not, she’s getting that. Night....after night...after night. And she’s doing it by singing her greatest hits and well known covers of her (and many of her audience’s) generation.

i think so, yes, but i do think since we already had this greatest hits tour in Europe, the setlist will change when she is here. In America she has not toured for years so this greatest hits tour does make sense.
