The centre double page of the album’s standard booklet has photos right across it with Celine doing various poses wearing this outfit so don’t think it has anything to do with LD music video

I FINALLY received my CD from TicketMaster today, and can confirm this statement!!

 

Shipping only took 16 days from the album release!!!

I got mine yesterday, 2 weeks after the release date. They certainly didn't pay extra for expedited shipping.

Probably. And I guess he's upset Caution only debuted at #5 in the US and #40 in the UK. Oh well, a little courage please.

 

You can smell and tell from a mile that the homerton guy is a lamb and/or spy. Haha... Probably still bitter about Caution (and all those past albums i.e. Memoirs, Elusive, Infinity...)

 

PS: I like Mariah too but I don't put down her work just because Celine's is more successful and vice versa.

Right! I mean, I’ve been listening to the album on loop since the 15th, but I‘m rather surprised I hadn’t seen those photos online, on the forum, on Insta...

 

On that topic: Compared to the sunny, youthful desert photos being used to promote the album everywhere else, I found the inside photos of the CD to be uncomfortable, unnatural, unflattering, bleak, gross, and depressing... Not trying to be negative here, that’s just how the images made me feel.

Yet the front/back cover is one of her best (if not THE Best). I have to wonder who picks these, and what happened here?!

Can we please, please stop to be afraid of being "negative"? It's not that we can talk about those things

with those Mariah fans out there or with people around us that don't like Celine :I (That's my case lol!)

 

So If someone wish he/she could enjoy better from something, then I see nothing wrong to share that

and this is the right place to do it. It doesn't make one less or more fan, never.

 

I can understand your feelings, to me it seems that they tried to have some contrast to the pervouis

photos they showed, so those have a more darker flavor, other than this I really have no idea, I keep thinking and writing that she is getting the worst advices ever.

 

Maybe she is not surrounded by people that know what we would like to get and see, pretty much the same goes for the setlist.

 

I've printed some photos of Celine that I love and framed them (Small size but it's cute),

like those youthful desert photos - LOVE IT SO MUCH!

Dare Celine to take this one out of the setlist when it works like magic.

 

Sometimes I feel her being so insecure when it comes to sing new songs on stage,

and she doesn't have to fear of anything but to be proud of her new album.

One thing I'm sure of, any other new song she will decide to sing live, it will be just wonderful!

Homerton is a sad individual. Regardless of what it sells, she was/is number 1. Caution is the most terrible album I've ever listened to. Embarrassing.

And I concur with Caution. What's more embarrassing than the album is the amount who turned out for Mariah's caution tour. now THOSE are embarrassing numbers for someone with supposedly the most #1 singles (much of those were rigged). I do enjoy the fact that Celine and Mariah are playing Boston on the same night in December. One of these two is playing two sold shows in the Garden......1 is in a lil' theatre.

 

Can we guess which ones, haha...

Only a troll would call an album that in one week has already outsold the latest albums of artists like Mariah Carey, Chirstina Aguilera or Britney Spears. Dont comment about charts if you dont understand the current music industry. Coldplay just opened with 50K in USA this week, please put things im perspective before you call Courage a flop.

Listening to the album one more time! With each song, the conclusion is always the same. The Courage album is simply FABULOUS!!!

 

Regardless of the number of copies sold, this album has already reached #1 in major markets and is undoubtedly one of the best albums of Celine Dion's career.

 

Now, promotion is essential! This album was not released earlier this year on the pretext of taking advantage of the increased sales of Christmas. And what promotion are you getting?

 

I live in Portugal and do not see any promotion, just saw the album for sale in Fnac stores without any highlight, the songs do not play on any radio here. Basically, the # 5 in the Portuguese top was achieved thanks to the fans. From here, it's the right drop in the tops because many don't know how good Celine Dion's new album is.

 

That said, Celine herself has to promote it on the tour singing many of Courage's songs. The tour is being a success, so what is the fear of creating new hits?

 

Listening to Heart of Glass now ... This song screams single! Like 80% of the songs on the album.

She is a QUEEN!

It's such a solid album, and we should feel incredibly proud of her.

I'm soaking it all in, and I'm looking forward to more surprises coming our way.

It's a tad strange that People Magazine never posted anything about Celine during this era so far.

They used to be all about her.

Yea, that's sad... Love how she sounds on Summertime though, sad it was just a "copy paste".

 

I kinda thought if this is her way of singing and if she doesn't really interpret on her own. Then I remember her wonderful new versions of PQTME from the tour... this must surely be all her. So she got it in her somewhere!

 

I think her voice was in beautiful shape, and the production was lovely (understated, with just the piano) but a standard that has been covered by countless legendary vocalists needs to be INTERPRETED, and she basically sings it straight through without offering anything new or interesting in regard to phrasing, coloring, tempo, modulation, etc. Besides a couple "hmmmmmm" and "ahaaaaaaaaa" between verses

 

She's kinda hit or miss in that department. A lot of times you basically get her imitating the demo singer note-for-note (including when the demo is by a beloved singer, like Sia). The most embarrassing episode was when she completely copied note-for-note Renee Olstead's rendition of "Summertime" for the Jerry Lee telethon, and Renee was only a teenager at the time...yikes

I've also had a feeling there's gonna be a rerelease… but since they've already gone for the "deluxe edition" I can't get my mind around what it would be to have a "deluxe deluxe edition" following that….

 

I think the album will be re-released next year in February with a lot more extra stuff. That's why they are holding back. Step 1: tour bundle + Christmas sales, step 2: much more promo for Valentines day and 2020 sales
