You are given the choice to either bundle or not. You just then have to redeem the album afterwards. You can still buy a ticket and choose not to get the album with it.

Then I have no idea why fans wrote the opposite thing, I'm glad to know that, thanks

I certainly don't remember that choice in any of the 8 orders I placed for tickets. There was no opt-in / opt-out option. It's automatically included in the price, you just don't get it unless you actively follow the link to redeem it, which comes in an email once you've purchased your tickets.

(And so I'm getting 8 albums I don't need, because of course I'm going to redeem something I've already had to pay for. Happy to contribute to the sales numbers, but clearly, this isn't an accurate reflection of demand.)

Well, one thing I'm sure of is that many of the fans that are with her from decades back

don't stream her music, but that doesn't explain to me, why there are no higher amount

of phisical album sells.

 

In any case, even if Celine would have "bombared" tv shows every where she can,

I don't see how that can prevent that pity falling from the charts, while she is for sure

deserve to be there, and not just because most of the things one hear today are crap

but because she had done a very decent work with that album.

 

On a side note, Sony doesn't use the benefits of social media for promoting her,

on this aspect it's very poor, they can post things on her accounts for free billion times a day!

Making the people wanting to share it every where, there are so many things to do

if they only find that creativity.

Heart of glass is very good but... it's too long... I mean it should end at 3.10 mins without that weird vocals at the end (exactly like the bridge). The producers must have had courage to produce them.

Wow... Celines fallen to #150 on the Rolling Stones chart with only 3,200 units sold so far this week. Shes gonna be off the Hot 100 I think, if not in the 150-200 range... she will then have the title of greatest chart drop of all time

Of that, actual album sales are at 3.7k, which puts her at #16, but once you factor in streaming, Courage drops 40 spots.

 

You can't say Sony's not trying on the streaming front - they had Spotify and Amazon Music billboards in all the prime spots, they had Celine chatting with Alexa (twice!) Now I worry they spent all their marketing budget on a 1-day billboard at Times Square (and others like it) and have nothing left in the coffers to market this any further, especially since they've seen so little return on the marketing investment.

She needs to avoid that “biggest drop” record in the states. We are all expecting it to fall but it CANNOT be number 1 one week and have the biggest ever drop the next week. It’s the one thing I’m hoping doesn’t happen.

Called it last week. And of course there will be negative media coverage about this which will make the album come off as an one-week-wonder and celebrated flop.

It's quite embarrassing to be honest. She is low in streaming, that is pretty telling noone actually cares about any of her new music.

In my opinion, her Vegas run kills her career. Like throughout her setlist in Vegas, she sang very little on the songs from taking chances and loved me back to life. People only know her of her 90s hits. She played safe all the time.

How could you possibly blame Vegas when it is the primary reason why Celine can nowadays rely on tickets to sell her album? Her residencies made her the performer she is today. Helped her sold out world tours again and again. Shocked it would be mentioned as something negative, even when Celine is not committed to Vegas anymore.

For one mariah know how to capitalize her christmas song and mariah is very good in social media, participating in tiktok, glitter campaign, and with fans as well.

Why celine can't be more active with the youngsters and she does not even know what binge is. Sigh....

Anyway, her team needs to make her more viral. Cher for example is quite active on twitter. You can tell Cher write her quotes personally, not through a personal assistant!

Young people do not care about Mariah. And she has a small fan base too, albeit very active one on social media and. Celine has been outselling her since 1996 - only exception being 2005. I firmly believe Celine has nothing to learn from Mariah. And do not get me started on her capitalizing on Christmas. Every time she dresses like Santa my entire body cringes. Which is why I'm so surprised by the complete lack of promo this week. Sony must have known this was coming.

I legitimately thought she'd show up at the AMAs, then go to LA for a day or two. But no. Complete radio silence, including on social media (other than a few forgettable retweets, not meaningful content - and this stuff is free!)

I definitely don't blame her for wanting to spend holiday season with the kids, especially since she hasn't seen them for a while. But they clearly pre-recorded promo material (or they should have!), and I expected at least a slow trickle of it this week. But they've gone completely silent. I don't get it.

The deluxe version price is a bit high for casual music fans.

Exactly! Celine must sing the new songs from Courage now. The album is phenomenal! It just need promotion.

Just let it go people, I have. The ship is leaving the harbor. She was Fallon and didn't sing anything from the album. Instead every interviewer asks her what does courage mean to her and it's the same answer from her. She's so good at recycling crap responses like not wanting to sing MHWGO. Yes, we know, you are happy they didn't listen to you. She doesn't sing but two songs on tour, I for one thought she would add more when the album was released but we know what happened with that move. She's over it, period. Let her do her bread and butter songs that she repeats that she's so tired of doing.

 

Here's to an amazing album that I will continue to enjoy regardless of if she's number 1 or number 649!

But even then she could do more new tracks now. For example - i went to Dutch Voice winner Dennis van Aarssen who is a crooner like Michael Buble and Sinatra. He said i am gonna do some older songs from Robbie Williams, Sinatra and Buble but i am also gonna do songs from my new album that you can buy in the lobby, after this concert has finished. And so he did many new songs - and guess what - loud applause after each song. Afterwards many people bought the album, including me. Turned out he sang all the new tracks and three covers of his twelve track album!

 

And now Celine, you have nothing to loose and you are proud on this new album. Make it an equal mix of old and new tracks! How will people ever get to know these new beautiful tracks if you don't perform them?

On a happier note: it's a delight when her new songs enter the list of her most popular songs on Spotify. So nice to see those old hits make room for her newer material (which that translated into setlists).

 

Lovers Never Die have most probably made its climb thanks to ot being included in some playlists. Hope more songs from Courage are too! 👍

Wow the album is really great, I still can't get enough of this album, been playing this album everyday since the day it was leak with no skip. I've never been this happy since ANDHC. So glad there's no duet, happy with those two music videos, and maybe the Lying Down video will soon released. That's everything all I need as fans. But I hope she will sing some of her new song if not a lot in her world tour, that's the only thing I complain, but I'm not yet upset since I only watch it for free, not paying any tickets.
