I heard a 21st song will be added into the album when it is released in Japan. I'm mixed now. If it were Play Me Like A Love Song, I would be over the moon. But if it were that song, it would be such a waste for a gem like this.

Without knowing who wrote what, I was convinced that Sam Smith wrote Look at us know...so so much like SS song.

 

Not as impressed with his song for Celine.

I thought the same about bonus tracks until 'A Vous'. She has incorporated that song to her French shows even though it's a bonus on 'Encore Un Soir', so anything could happen

We'll probably know once the album is released. The booklet usually mentions in which year each song was recorded. That's how I discovered that "Only One Road" was recorded in 1992!

So far, I’m totally in love with Heart Of Glass and The Hard Way! I don’t understand why they are just bonus tracks. They deserve a video clip and deserve to be singles. The Hard Way is so REAL, everybody can relate to it. And she puts so much effort when she sings it. It sounds like she wants it to sound pure and excellent, and it does!

 

They would sound great on the radio! And I hope she performs them live in her shows. Real gems!

maybe these weren’t considered to be part of the album, but were added last minute? And actually I could live without them. MTMH and TRIGO are way better imo

The Hard Way has definitely the best vocals on the album. It's classic Céline but with a twist. It would definitely work for a film. I really can't believe how well she sounds, not even on the TC album did she sound this good.

I have to say some of the songs I wasn't too keen with on my first few listens are starting to grow on me...So any Celine fans who are more fans of classic Celine please give it time...Some of the album is a little different from what we are used to with Celine and there is a lack of her typical vocal arcrobatic ballads which I'm still kind of disapointed about but it will grow on you, some gems are on here anyway

 

Can't wait to hear the song 'Soul' Anyone know where we can buy the japanese version when it's released....I wonder if I can change my settings on itunes to the japan version and down load the japaniese bonus track, anyone have any idea?

even There Comes A Time was filmed! and that was a reject that appeared in 2008

 

It would not be surprising that PMLALS is new TCAT. Or new TLYM, a song that was featured on Japanese release, became a hit in Japan, and then came back on next albums for others. And it is still performed all over the world.

I hope to see the recording process for all the songs. That would be like a dream come true! I want to see Celine in action creating the magic!

 

I have the feeling that is not going to happen since this recording process was very particular in time, vocal conditions, vocal technique and the pronuntiation issue.

But I'd like to be wrong.

Celine's number of streams are low. Look at LD/Courage/Imperfections. And they haven't leaked.

People don't need to listen to it many times on streaming services to decide if they like it or not. It won't impact much.

1250 streams =1 album equivalent sale.

And the album would have been available illegally on the 15th a few hours after the official release anyway, so illegal downloaders don't need spotify for that. It doesn't change a thing.

Best selling albums are also the most illegally downloaded in general.

Well I think everyone knows that Celine is not a streaming force, just like most of the older artists. That's why she needs all the help she can get!

I think one of the few positives about Spotify and similar platforms is that once an album is released there is a lot less illegal downloads.

Unlike other albums, so far I find myself liking all songs, and not skipping any. However I dont have a particular favourite yet. I think so far if I really had to choose change my mind and perfect Goodbye would be my favourites, but I love them all !!

Absolutely in love with: Lovers never die, Change my mind, Say yes, Nobody's watching, The chase, How did you get here and Perfect goodbye. Boundaries is also great.

The rest are very good as well, the album has amazing quality and consistency.

 

Quite a bit influence from Lana del Rey and Sia, and I love the LP sound on Change my mind.

I really do like every song!! The only songs that aren’t my favorite are “say yes”( I don’t like the chorus for some reason)... “Best of all”(I don’t start liking until the 2 minute mark. After that I like it - I think it’s a grower still) and “boundaries” still needs to grow on me(everyone loves it on here so I feel bad not liking it haha, but idk it just hasn’t hooked me yet). I am the one who claim some friends ain't gonna buy this album after they listen from the leak, at the same time I never made such a big deal about this leak.

No there were more people making such claims.. Was not referring to you specifically

You don't seem to understand that when you listen to the album on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. it counts as sales (so many streams = one sale equivalent). When an album leaks, it doesn't contribute to anything sales wise or to Sony, the writers, Celine, etc.

I hope that one day illegal album downloads can count towards the charts. Because I think they can actually find out how many times it was downloaded. I remember seeing numbers years ago about illegal downloads.

 

I understand everything, what you dont understand is you need to read what I am writing I said sometimes they use it as a marketing stunt, to create a buzz.. I did not say that that was their plan... Plus also as i said be happy with the music, wining about getting her to number one, if it happens it happens you all need to except that her peak has already gone by anything we get from her now is a plus and amazing!! I am in love with this album... thats important. I hope more people hear that but i'm okay if she just puts out great music!!

Yes.. Celine release it earlier please. Downloading is easy but I want to have that special feeling when I got the cd as a present, only heard two singles and surprise myself with each new track while reading the booklet
