Of course I won’t read the last hundred pages since it would be a complete waste of time.

 

For those wondering, it’s absolutely not a crappy quality leak. I just listened to the album in FLAC quality. And THAT was not a waste of time. I can’t wait for you to hear it whether you chose to wait or to be a thief of the modern times. I’m now going back to listening to it again.

 

Oh and by the way...

Albums/TV shows/Movies leak all the time. It’s not the freaking end of the world. Yes, it’s technically illegal. So is jaywalking. So is drinking before you’re 21. So is smoking marijuana. All of these things get done all the time. Not to mention all the cheating on taxes, our politicians illegally using money for their personal use, etc. Let’s all take a step back and just breathe. Broadway shows are filmed and are leaked onto YouTube. Understudies and replacement casts actually use them to study the show before going on. I also wouldn’t be surprised if someone on Celine’s team was the one who “leaked” the album in order to get a buzz going about the album.

 

If you don’t want to listen to it - fine. But don’t shame other people for doing it. It’s their business. Unless you’ve never done anything illegal in your entire life or told a lie, etc....it’s a “let he without sin cast the first stone” situation.

 

Also, sorry but I won’t be streaming the album when it’s released. I don’t stream. I buy art so that I own it. Corporations have done a great job of convincing people that instead of owning art, we should just give them money on a monthly basis to stream whatever they happen to pay for the rights to stream. And if they lose those rights, too bad -it’s gone. No more for you!

 

I’m usually listening to music as I’m out about between clients and by streaming, I’d be using my data. It’s free to just pay the money for the album and listen to it in my iTunes. I really don’t “get” the big deal about streaming.

 

Music companies would prefer streaming does not exist as they earn far less than before.

 

But to survive they had to adapt to the new music consumptions.

 

And chart simply reflect that - even though this consumption is highly questionable and favour youngsters against older artists: at 50 you stream far less your favourite artist than at 20... but you would have bought equally the same number of album presumably.

If their team is recording a concert for a DVD, I guarantee you that posted around the venue are signs saying something to the effect of “Please understand that tonight’s performance is being recorded for DVD release. You may appear on camera at some point during the filming. If you have a problem with this, please see the box office staff and they will refund your tickets.” I’ve been at numerous events where that’s been posted. I’ve been the person who has worked the job in my younger years that had to post those signs.

 

You’re just upset that people are listening to the album and you’re not allowing yourself to so you’re punishing other people by making them feel bad.

 

Are you literally just acting like this for a laugh? I feel nothing but sympathy for those silly enough to spread, suggest and listen to pirated content. Dont be so naive. The last time she recorded in london it literally just said “tonights show is being filmed”.. nothing about consent or refunds, and how many will ever acknowledge that? They didnt give consent, hey presto, lawsuit!

 

If youre going to continue naive and silly comments like this thinking people are jealous of those simple enough to participate in highly illegal and enforced acts, thats their prerogative, but frankly its foolish. Funny how you say we shoule change, the minority who have committed this illegal act shouldnt, that we should all go away if were bothered, funny how that doesnt apply when youre on a specific side which is under scrutiny, everyone else must change, but alas

As for the "buying the album" thing : can you tell me why i should buy a thing that i don't like ?? People say that they'll still buy it because they intend to like the album but they don't know if they will like it yet.

I already bought the 3 songs (previously released) and i surely will buy 2 or 3 other songs that i like but why buying the whole thing when you know that you don't like it. It is just a waste of money.

Such a shame that PMLALS is so far not on the album because from what I heard of the album today it would have been one of the standout tracks, I have to hear the bonus tracks on release day but I think the album is better than LMBTL album, it’s more cohesive and modern, I like a lot of the songs but I’m not in love with the album if that makes sense...I really like about 10 songs, some of the rest might grow on me, let’s hope for some killer bonus tracks...it’s kinda missing some more power ballads but...I already know I love the Maty Noyes song and the other song is by Sia song so promising at least 🙂

 

Ps I’m buying 2 copies of this album as are pretty much the rest of the fans who’ve heard it and I’ve not shared any link so please stop beating up on other fans

Geez, i don't really care if you listen it yourself, but since it is out there in public, it will kill the streaming power when the album is out. For instance, one would probably listen to courage album 10 times during the day of release but because one haa listened to it so many times between now and 15th, one may be unlikely to listen to it numerious times on the day of release in spotify. It will kill the streaming sales. Get it?

But the point being, you wouldn’t have known whether or not you liked it without having bought your copy, if you hadn’t listened to an illegal leak of it.
