Totally agree with you! I personally haven't listened to the album (mainly cause I don't know where to look for the link and couldn't be bothered... ahaha So basically out of laziness). But I am very interested in sharing thoughts, opinions, ideas and excitement with people who have! It actually increase my excitement!

 

So, do you think it's a personal album? Or more personal than her previous English albums?

 

Ahah so there are 3 types of Céline's fans: those impatient fans (like me) who listened to the new album, those patient fans who didn't, and those lazy fans who didn't just because they are lazy, so funny (some years ago I think I could be a part of the third group ahahah. Anyway here it's a close friend who told me "I give you the link", if he hadn't said that, maybe...)

 

 

Well after listening to the album several times my opinion is that you will either love it or hate it as i don't see people saying it's ok.

 

 

My opinion is I don't like it at all :

- 6 years of waiting for that !!! if these are the best songs she recorded i don't even wanna hear the rest

- Now I understand why there are not more songs off this album on the world tour boring setlist. Thank GOD

- When i am listening to this album it feels like i am listening to the same song again and again (with some variations of course). It makes this album very boring

- My main problem with this album is her interpretation she's not singing she is crying and it is too bad because the voice is quite good (on the technical aspect). This album makes me feel sad but not the good sad the bad one like depressed

- In the end, the 3 songs previously released are by far (very very very far) the best songs of the album.

 

To sum up : This album is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. This is the first Celine's album that i won't buy (I am a big fan since the early 90's).

This is the second disappointment that i have in a row from Her after the boring setlist of the world tour with that godamn awful entry in a "megalomaniacal and narcissitic mode" :

Applaude me and then i shall sing to you. Her last 2 projects are seriously lacking simplicity and generosity.

 

 

 

Wow I'm relieved that it's not me who gave you the link! That's a shame, you listened to it and you won't buy it. Not a real fan so.... Very sad. By the way, the link I sent yesterday is not working anymore (and I think it's perfect: it was only for REAL fans who check always the forum ahah, and who will higly probably buy the album and stream it legally, as we said before... even if there is odd ones like the guy above...)

Agreed. Some people can be unnecessarily dramatic. Bullies hiding behind their holier-than-thou attitudes. Hypocrites. Hahaha

 

I did not know asking some respect for an artist and teams work was bullying.

I've been thinking about it, and I wonder if the bulk of the new songs are coming for the European leg? I mean I could see them adding 1-2 new songs for the US set but at the same time she hasn't toured in so long so the "Greatest Hits" really do make sense for this leg.

If Europe gets the bulk of the new album and she decides to not add anything else for the States I will explode. Call me jealous, envious and color me green, I do not care what you call me.

This album is AMAZING!

It’s not what I want to happen, but it’s what I fear will happen. I’m seeing her for the first time in 11 years so I’m just glad to be seeing her, but I know it’s not the case for so many other people, like you. I’m just curious to see what she’ll do!

I’m so happy! This album is amazing. She really took risks on this production. She sounds incredible and very current. The album flows like a breeze. Not like TC that was to forced to me.

 

Two comments:

I was waiting for more dance songs ala FOMO.

I love love Boundaries.

 

Oh and one more things. Does she really says sh**t on Perfect Goodbye?!
