That is the million dollar question! It, to me, seems like this is a "close your eyes and point with your finger" project.

 

SURELY it won't be out by March/April if it's not even recorded yet.

Yes as I already pointed out that is a great cap! But it looks better in wide angle though... But then it wouldn't fit the cover. But as a pic inside/backside of the booklet it would be superb.

Now the composition and cut of the first one would do great for a cover. I included the other one since that resembles somewhat the one Céline wore in the pic your aiming at right, Darren?

But giving it a second thought, I think this kind of photoshoot would be great to the Live CD if they ever release it (wich is highly sure they will) But, it would look kind of like the TTEOTW cover What about a photosoot in her mansion in Montreal with gowns like those???

They never did a photoshoot for a live album, I don't think they'll start now. They'll probably choose some pictures from the official photos Gérard took.

Celine should cover this amazing song, the original version is in Portuguese and made history in Portugal, the original singer also made an English version at the same time, due problem with her management she never had a change to had a International career

TC single was released in september and album 2 month later, ETSLRQU goes to radio on february and D´elles was released in may, so it´s diffrent but at least 2 months I think.

This is so frustrating. Honestly, I think Céline has lost interest in putting out new albums. Not to mention that René has lost his track with Céline's career

That's right, not many things have been revealed about this album, so I'd say we can't judge yet.

To me either. But that's since they haven't announced anything real. They say "sometimes in spring". Even the hard core fans have no idea. And it seems as if her team has no clue either. They should just put a real date, announce it, send out information, and stick to it.

 

And about the first single... the big question here is will there be singles at all? Or an album for that matter.

There is not confirmation about Mariah neither and she is there.. That's not the problem. She should change her PR strategy completely. I don't get what is going on with them or with Sony, really. If the album is coming out in April, they should already have a date for the single. I think they it will be push back to October o November...

Considering Rene claims he reads, or is informed, about Celine's portrayal in the media around the world everyday cant he see that she is virtually being ignored these days?

 

Of course, the other artists being mentioned above namely Madonna and Mariah make it their absolute priority to remain relevant and in the mainstream media. That's the choices they have made - their careers are all about remaining relevant and moving with the times even if the sales figures don't follow they still get talked about.

 

Celine meanwhile has chosen Vegas - and focussing on motherhood - as her career and remaining relevant and mainstream isn't the priority anymore. There are no right or wrong choices, just different ones and as Celine Dion fans we find it sad that not only do they (Celine / Rene / Sony) not appear to care anymore neither it would seem do the worldwide media either.

Not to forget the fact that the only reporter (I hope not!) at Billboard who liked Celine was Chuck Taylor, who unfortunately was laid off. So it comes as no surprise that even Billboard is choosing to ignore her. It' the priorities that matter, and with Celine, she doesn;t give a friggin' fcuk about her career anymore and rightfully so, the media is ignoring her as well. It's a two way street with the media. If they don't get the gossips and news, they would ignore you. And with Celine, she's as boring as drinking hot chocolate in a summer evening.

why would the media care about someone who only cares to do a long term show in the middle of a desert in only one country. how many articles can they write about one show lol? they would also care if she had anything to say about music instead of just diapers and breast feeding

Personally for her to be BIG again right now the music industry is more dance.

I think Celine could work with Tiesto, Armin Van Burren or David Guetta that

could bring out all the younger fans on board.

That's right! She's not that old as to just STICK to the power ballads, which will always be HER style, but she could perfectly monopolize the dance charts with a decent single. She's got the beauty, she's got the body, she's got the charisma, she's got the voice; why not Celine? We know you love to dance!
