All this time, I thought it was "it's lust" instead of "he's lost"

 

The first 5 times I listened to the audio CD I thought she was saying "he's a less" or "he's a lesser" so...

 

I thought she said "He's a louse"

Hahaha omg .... But in fact, this is one of the most conspicuous lines if we talk about her french accent. There is no "h" in "He's lost"..... She sings "Iiihhiiis lost"

What is your favorite performance on the TC tour dvd and why?

 

 

Mine is "The Show Must Go On" because i think the performance is rock and roll, the vocals are stunning and i think it gives the over all tour a different Celine experience for the fans!

For me it's "I'm Alive" although my favourite will probably change over time.

 

The reason for this is I truly believe that they gave the song a whole new edge and it was one of the songs they did take a risk on by changing it's arrangement. Watch "I'm Alive" from the A New Day DVD and watch it on the Taking Chances DVD and see the difference in energy, power and crowd involvement. I'm almost tempted to say the old version comes across as boring but the new version is funky, fast and above all, is great to listen and dance to.

 

One thing i'm not sure about though is the solo female dance part near the start of the song.

i believe that the TC dvd is awesome..her performances were superb..and she really sung live!!

 

my favorite is:

 

1. All by myself - i was stunned the first time i watched and heard her hit the super high note in the climactic part (anymooooore) and I reckon it's way better than her 90's performances. though, at the end note, her voice was shaky, but i never gave a damn because it only proved an honest performance of that hard song. another point i have is that i thought she's singing it lipped since the 21st century came over -along with TPOL.

 

2. I'm Alive - her performance of this song is superb!!! the energy, the rhythm and the vocals!! it's simply amazing!!

 

3. The power of love - when i first saw the performance, i cried!!! because i believed it was completely live!!! and i am dreaming about this for the longest time. but some other fan argued that it was post-recorded. but i reckon, whether it is live or post recorded, she can still hit that high notes!!! in this times.. unlike WH and MC

Collectors want any edition with any difference.

My favourite is Eyes On Me Because they created his own world for that song, with the capes and dancers. But also because its the first time in years (since Fever in A New Day I would say) that we got to see Céline dance some choreographed dance steps on the stage with dancers! I totally loved that

Also in this "Céline dancing" category I would include the updated version of River Deep Mountain High, with Céline holding the majorette stick, that's so exciting moment in the concert

 

Vocally, I love It's A Man's World and The Show Must Go On.

Eyes on Me and Fade Away, the Highnotes in Fade Away were really tops, I loved them. Eyes on me, I love seeing Celine dance, her body moves so beautifully and the capes and everything is so magical and magnifacient! I adore them! I also love The Prayers vocals very much, and Because You Loved Me, it made me fall back in love with it

1. i drove all night long- her vocals were absolutely amazing.

2. eyes on me- the dance was amazing along with her vocals. Her moves are fantastically amazing!

and my last one would be My Love- how she puts all her emotions into the song. i love that about her.

if you hear the english cd, there is only half of the opening (the last part) while in the french cd the IDAN has not been edited

I really cannot udnerstand hy some people did moan so much...

I have both cds and the through the eyes of the world deluxe edition and I luv everything!

It is amazing to have new versions and so much material ♥ what a fantastic era of Céline....

 

The only little thing that "disappoints" me is that the "Europe" part of Through The Eyes Of The World is rather superficial in contrast to Africa and Asia where she had less concerts -.-
