Just watched the DVD for the first time today. It's flawless, except the glitch before The Prayer and the booklet is too thin.

Oh no in your DVD too? There is a glitch in the french DVD too, before my love so I though it was my DVD player!

 

the glitch on the dvd is normal. Since it is doubly writable (DVD).

Which is also often mentioned in a separate booklet.

So it is not due to an error in your player or the dvd.

Talking about glitches. My DVD has this thing it does before every song. Is it suppose to do that?

The more I watch the English show the more I love it. I'm even starting to like the one or two songs that annoyed me at the beginning. I think ''All By Myself'' is actually great. ''Fade Away'' is pretty good too. All Celine's little winks and smiles during the show are just to adorable for words. She has the crowd eating out of her hands, she knows it and she loves it. It is pretty amazing that even after all these years of performing she still loves the feeling of bringing a crowd to their feet... and it is clear in this concert.

 

Come on, I see you are changing your favourite candidate from the french concert to the english one Come on, join me! I still believe the english concert is amazing, though the french one may be great too. I have to watch it again and with another perspective yet

 

And, like someone else said, its like they released the tiger from his cage... the energy and positive feeling of her during these concerts are clearly obvious

 

Also, I already checked the Alone version from the french edition, and it has NOT the same opening instrumentals as the version in the movie! Movie's version xylophone is amazing, why they didn't put this in the concert DVDs?

 

I haven't watch the French show yet as I'm still waiting for it. But I cannot wait to see it...

 

Is the laughing bit at the beginning of ''My Love'' on the French DVD the same as on the English DVD?

 

I cannot tell you 100% sure as I didn't pay much attention to the repeated performances, but as far as I remember it is a different version. The people who interrupted her and shouted were speaking in french, and so she replied of course in french and responded with different gestures and smiles

when i saw and heard "its a mans world" i thought that she is screaming like crazy... XD but now i love it... its one of my favorites from the concert... the same with the show must go on... i think this is one of the highlights from the dvd

Me too! I was one of those who couldn't tolerate her nosense screaming in certain songs sometimes, but now, particularly in that song, I adore her screams Especially the final part when she sings "he's lost... indeed it is..."

My love Montreal is different!! I like that one over the Boston. In montreal she seems more human haha

But she mess those 2 lines up... haha

 

But i also thought it was: he's lost indeed it is. But i needed to look for the lyrics just because I cannot hear what she is singing the whole damn song haha, so funny now to know what she really is singing, and what i was hearing before i knew the words haha

So how many mistakes in the lyrics did you guys hear? I heard a few.

 

Yeah Montreal Concert: "My Love" the last line... she sings " i must have made it clear from the start" must have been "i know i made it clear..."

 

I think it's the other way around.... she sings "know" in Montreal and "must've made" in Boston..

 

The correct lyrics is ''I know...'' though. She also sang ''... every dreams...'' in ''Because You Loved Me'' and messed the lyrics of ''Fade Away'' up at some point, but I can't remember now what she sang. Will have to watch it again...

 

 

Haha yeah in Fade Away instead of saying "so let the clouds that bring you down" she says "just let the clouds that bring you down." I noticed that right away. I think that's the part anyway. Another excuse to watch it again

 

 

Also in Fade Away she sings these lines:

 

I know that one day

I'll find it

Feeling again

But until I do I'm doin'

Fine by myself

 

Instead of "fine by myself' she sings: "right by my side" at least that's what i hear hahaha

LMAO! I did exactly the same! Went to google the lyrics because I didn't understand exactly the part of "indeed it is", and found that she missed "in bitterness" so she messed up the lyrics, that's why she said that

I sent an email to QVC to know if they could send the bonus CD edition internationally or make an exception with this release, and no way, they can't :confused:

 

I think this CD is going to be a hard to find one in the future, being an exclusivity for the US only

It's such a shame really about the QVC cd as it includes some great tracks. The new version of "I'm Alive" would've been great to have on actual CD as would the Queen medley. Although I like New Mego's Flamenco I would've much preferred the songs mentioned above to be on the actual album.
