Do you think that they changed the pitch of her voice like in I got Nothing Left? The music of this song is amazing and I love how it grows in the chorus but her voice sounds very diffrent from the one she had in that era.

 

I don’t think so. I hear nothing similar in the way they altered her pitch in IGNL sorry 😐 I hear her voice clear and mellow the same way as in the ANDHC album!

We need this f****** awesome ANDHC remixes released on CD someday finally!!! :blush: Shocking as it may seem for 2002, none of them was ever released on CD, they were only available on promotional vinyls, but they're sooooo good to be only available on vinyl! I have them burnt on CD and on a (fake) CD that I bought compiling all of them by Richie Jones, Chris Panaghi and Mike Rizzo, and I blast them on my Hi-Fi with true-bass at max power and they're absolutely dancefloor material

 

That's my only Céline-wish for a release of old material in 2019

Then there's this part of the booklet. THIS very part when you're getting to the middle of the album and then there's that 2-page foldout sunset coming up But before that, the transition before in the previous and next page, from the daylight and cloudy horizon to the sun slipping through all preparing the scene for that sunset, like announcing that after every storm or cloudy sky there's a sun coming through, and eventually a new day comes

 

They took care of all the details with the design of this album

Well I just found out yesterday that this week ANDHC turned 17 years since it was released, same number of songs that the album includes (17 in the international versions).

 

But also on a personal level, for an amazing coincidence, I was 17 when the album was released, and also by another great coincidence I'm turning this year the same age Céline had when she recorded ANDHC.

 

I had to celebrate yesterday playing the album

Not surprised! It was 5 releases in less than 5 months! We had TC the album in November and the Vegas DVD, then the CE for TAST, then the CE for ANDHC in January 2008 and then the triple pack with FIY/LTAL/ANDHC.

 

We were SO spoiled in the past!

So...the last/best up tempo pop song from a woman now called An Icon or legend is I’m Alive ? That s show how a disaster her up tempo repertoire is. It s not that i don t like I’m Alive but come on. No need to explain.

Well, that's your opinion, you don't like the song. That's fine. But nobody can deny the hit song it was, and especially, how it become such a trademark song of Céline everywhere with the time

Without going any further, just watching the interview shared today on 50 Min Inside, and BAM!, here's I'm Alive again used during the video: after showing some seconds of ABM performed on Vegas, the next song of her they show during the intro of the video is I'm Alive (2:23), first live on the stage, then the playback version comes in as background music. And all this during 1 minute of the video segment.

 

No MHWGO, no TPOL, no Ashes. I'm Alive. No need to explain!
