Javito Posted October 29, 2018 at 09:45 PM Posted October 29, 2018 at 09:45 PM Do you think that they changed the pitch of her voice like in I got Nothing Left? The music of this song is amazing and I love how it grows in the chorus but her voice sounds very diffrent from the one she had in that era. I don’t think so. I hear nothing similar in the way they altered her pitch in IGNL sorry 😐 I hear her voice clear and mellow the same way as in the ANDHC album! Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Javito Posted January 6, 2019 at 12:02 PM Posted January 6, 2019 at 12:02 PM (edited) We need this f****** awesome ANDHC remixes released on CD someday finally!!! Shocking as it may seem for 2002, none of them was ever released on CD, they were only available on promotional vinyls, but they're sooooo good to be only available on vinyl! I have them burnt on CD and on a (fake) CD that I bought compiling all of them by Richie Jones, Chris Panaghi and Mike Rizzo, and I blast them on my Hi-Fi with true-bass at max power and they're absolutely dancefloor material That's my only Céline-wish for a release of old material in 2019 (Fav. part here a 4:05 )https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTzFgksfaZY Edited January 6, 2019 at 12:08 PM by Javito 2 Quote "Hush, now... Javito Posted January 7, 2019 at 09:29 PM Posted January 7, 2019 at 09:29 PM (edited) Then there's this part of the booklet. THIS very part when you're getting to the middle of the album and then there's that 2-page foldout sunset coming up But before that, the transition before in the previous and next page, from the daylight and cloudy horizon to the sun slipping through all preparing the scene for that sunset, like announcing that after every storm or cloudy sky there's a sun coming through, and eventually a new day comes They took care of all the details with the design of this album Edited January 7, 2019 at 09:38 PM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... SuperLove4Celine Posted January 7, 2019 at 11:46 PM Posted January 7, 2019 at 11:46 PM I wish we’d get recording studio footage for some of the more obscure songs like: “Rain, Tax,” “When The Wrong One...,” “Sorry For Love,” “Super Love,” and “Prayer.” 6 Quote

Javito Posted March 30, 2019 at 11:03 AM Posted March 30, 2019 at 11:03 AM Well I just found out yesterday that this week ANDHC turned 17 years since it was released, same number of songs that the album includes (17 in the international versions). But also on a personal level, for an amazing coincidence, I was 17 when the album was released, and also by another great coincidence I'm turning this year the same age Céline had when she recorded ANDHC. I had to celebrate yesterday playing the album Obsessed? 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Javito Posted April 7, 2019 at 03:44 PM Posted April 7, 2019 at 03:44 PM This is an ad for the UK from HMV stores, and here's how they marketed the TC as well as selected rereleases available back then (those days ), and among them there's the ANDHC 2008 Collector's Edition, marketed with this description: "A stunning album which topped both the UK and US charts and launched the hits "I'm Alive", "Have You Ever Been In Love" and the title track "A New Day Has Come". Also the triple pack including the albums FIY, LTAL and ANDHC say "3 UK #1 albums with combined sales of almost 4.5 million... Smash hits included: My Heart Will Go On and A New Day Has Come". Of all the hits that packed these three best selling English albums of Celine, they chose ANDHC to be highlighted next to MHWGO. Must be for some good reason Dedicated to all the naysayers who still question how big the singles ANDHC and also equally I'm Alive were (and are) in the collective memory of those working in the music business 2 Quote "Hush, now... We had TC the album in November and the Vegas DVD, then the CE for TAST, then the CE for ANDHC in January 2008 and then the triple pack with FIY/LTAL/ANDHC. We were SO spoiled in the past! Ajax Posted April 7, 2019 at 06:12 PM Posted April 7, 2019 at 06:12 PM Of course I’m alive is now part of Celine s classic. No doubt about that. So...the last/best up tempo pop song from a woman now called An Icon or legend is I’m Alive ? That s show how a disaster her up tempo repertoire is. It s not that i don t like I’m Alive but come on. No need to explain. Quote
Javito Posted April 7, 2019 at 06:31 PM Posted April 7, 2019 at 06:31 PM (edited) I'm Alive was the one uptempo song chosen among the 3 she performed for the worldwide unveiling in LA this week of her upcoming tour, before any other uptempo song of her repertoire, and before press and media coming from all the US and Canada. The only uptempo song of her discography (and for that matter, the only song of all) that has been remixed and rereleased as a single 6 years after its original release; the only song that was remixed for a world tour performance in 2008. No need to explain Edited April 7, 2019 at 06:33 PM by Javito Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Well, that's your opinion, you don't like the song. That's fine. But nobody can deny the hit song it was, and especially, how it become such a trademark song of Céline everywhere with the time Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
Javito Posted April 7, 2019 at 08:18 PM Posted April 7, 2019 at 08:18 PM Without going any further, just watching the interview shared today on 50 Min Inside, and BAM!, here's I'm Alive again used during the video: after showing some seconds of ABM performed on Vegas, the next song of her they show during the intro of the video is I'm Alive (2:23), first live on the stage, then the playback version comes in as background music. And all this during 1 minute of the video segment. No MHWGO, no TPOL, no Ashes. I'm Alive. No need to explain! Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
CelinesDIVO5 Posted April 8, 2019 at 02:54 AM Posted April 8, 2019 at 02:54 AM Maybe IA was chosen for the tour announcement because of it’s message, rather than it being “superior” to any of her other uptempo songs.
