What's her team up to in YouTube? They just uploaded random songs from the ANDHC album on her YouTube channel a few hours ago. And also from One Heart the past week. Thought these songs were already available?!?!

I also don´t get it really. They uploaded videos also from the LMBTL album, but songs which they have uploaded yet, simply again. What´s the purpose?

There´s no need to upload the same videos again, while the first uploaded videos are still available.

The original cover concept announced on Amazon :wub: I don't think there is a HQ version of it.

 

Though I'm glad Sony pushed her to be featured on the cover in the end ^_^

I've looked for that picture for a long time and I haven't been able to find it, so maybe you're right.

 

Yeah, the final cover is much better. It's one of her best album covers overall, and it's such a good reflection of the music of that album too, in my opinion. ^_^

The tree is missing behind her back. If you look how she stands the tree should be visible behind her back because of its size or whatever.

They probably forgot to add that when they edited the picture :D

I think it looks a little weird when you know. Very hard to unsee for me at least.

 

I hope I did explain correct so you also can see it. Just look at the ANDHC Youtube thumbnails. :D

I don't know... I really like Taking Chances too. I listen to it frequently and it never get boring. Different from LMBTL.

Summer is here :wub:

 

A New Day Has Come is an album that has always been closely linked with nature and its elements, from the start of its conception:

 

The clouds and the sky of the first conceptual album cover,

 

The flowers in the A New Day Has Come CD single,

 

The album booklet that opens up with a double-page picture of the sunset in the beach (or dawn, depending on the view),

 

The sea present both in the front, back and inside the booklet and liner notes,

 

Then the ANDHC videoclip...

 

Nature it's a constant through the concept of this album and it was beautifully portrayed in the many different pictures taken to inspire the concept.

 

Most of the pictures were taken outdoors in real landscapes and settings, showing this particular feature of this album, probably unique among all Celine's photoshoots.

Been seeing a lot of A New Day Has Come talk on the forum so I've taken it out and have listened to it all weekend. Forgot how good it is.

That's part of the success of this album too. That's why I love this photoshoot and I hate the last two album photoshoots (Alix Malka photoshoots) and its fakeness all around :sick: :innocent:

will be affected by this.

I wait for the worst unfortunately. Probably she will be wearing the most extravagant clothes on her (as if the photoshoot was done for a fashion magazine and not for a music album), while standing again before a in-studio gray wall, and that's it :wacko:

I'm sure Pepe will be whispering in her ears to do something interesting

or just showing her some of his new drawings lol for new ideas.

If so, let's hope it will be something with good taste, she might at least enjoy doing it :)

It seems that she is totally in new stage in life and it will show in her career choices as well,

keep developing and exploring. Not much time left to find out about it...

I can't conceive how her two best live performances of A New Day Has Come and I'm Alive, which happened in Divas Las Vegas 2002, are not found on YouTube, let alone uploaded on her official Vevo account :pinch:

 

These are two of the best renditions she's done of the singles (before she sucked the life out of I'm Alive until today). I don't know what happened that night in 2002, what was her band into lol, but the energy of these live performances was never repeated after the 2002 promotion of the album :hmm:

This sounded great. Had forgotten how these songs sounded in the beginning. Especially I'm alive which really sounds different nowadays.

Was that Celine's band that played? If so for once it sounded great. In regard to enhance the performance.

Usually I think they don't do anything to the performances besides just playing the songs. The times I thought the band has been good it has been when Celine has not been with her own band. I am no sound technician or whatever so I can't really pinpoint what is missing but I find them boring, I'm sorry to say.

Yes, it was her band playing (Mego's band) -which makes it even more impressive since the uptempo songs weren't really their thing when it came to play them live :hmm:

 

But yes, these Divas Las Vegas versions were flawless :wub:

I think for most songs on Divas (at least from performances ive seen) heavily use the studio track, only really using the live band to bolster the sound and act as a sort of backup-band to the studio instrumental

The instrmentals were mostly studio track, she was indeed clearly singing live.
