Apparently, the only song that ultimately made the cut was Sorry For Love. Interesting, thanks for sharing! It looks like this was at the very beginning, way before they had more proper songs.

Yes, and I Know What Love Is was put later on One Heart. Love Is Alive was on Anastacia's album too.

And another one which was rumored before the final tracklist :

I wonder how reliable these sources are. If she really recorded all these songs, there are much more unreleased left overs than we know

The first one seems more reliable than the second. I'm not sure if it's in this book, I read it a long time ago (https://www.amazon.f...u/dp/284343307X), but I'm quite sure it says she recorded approximately 70 songs for ANDHC. But on Wikipedia it says two dozen songs :

"René Angélil, Dion, and the Sony family began selecting prospective songs at the beginning of 2001, and on 28 August 2001 she started recording vocal tracks for nearly two dozen songs at Montreal's Piccolo Studios."

Think there was even a plan for recording an English version of Laisse Moi t'Aimer (Let Me Love You) from Mike Brant also.

The song title "Sure" has to be the worst song title ever lol.

I bet some of those songs are probably real and recorded. We wait for the Celine "rarities" CD to reveal the truth

Not sure but think she recorded Run Like A River too, there were rumors of a Data tape somewhere around the time Would I Know leaked if I'm not mistaking.

Wasn't Miracle already recorded for ANDHC too under the title of Who Could Ever Love You More ?

Wooow, how time flies... Feels like it was yesterday. Her come back was so huge back then when we think about it. She was everywhere on magazines and on TV (even here in France despite it was an English album). I was at primary school and I remember during recreation time we were talking about the I'm Alive videoclip and how long was her dress :sofunny:. I also remember the French TV specials I used to watch with my grandma and my mom, so many memories

two dozen are 24, right?

thats so interesting! Her break back then really wasn’t that long at all. In 2001 she was already recording new songs and had some appearances.

You're so right about her break. As a child back then, 2 years seemed like an eternity but when we think about it, it wasn't really a break. In France we had the duet with Garou, and after RC's birth she was already starting recording for ANDHC, and probably preparing Las Vegas ? And after came 11/09 and God Bless America. Plus she was everywhere in the press and tabloïds during 2000/2001.

Yes, time flies. Back then in 2001, I bought the People magazine with the first pics of RC and I waited hours to download the 9/11 tributes from a Celine fanside. Can you imagine that? Nowadays we have YT. And of course I was excited for the new album ANDHC. The lead single is one of her finest singles ever😍.

ahaha the good old times, when internet connection wouldn't let you use your phone at the same time, when downloading a 4mb song took 1 hour and when downloading a Celine related video on E-mule leads you to a NSFW content after downloading all night long :sofunny: :sofunny: :sofunny: But it was a revolution back then. Yes you're so right about Youtube, nowadays Celine's related content is just one click away and only takes 1 second to load !

I remember also the first pics of RC's baptism in the Gala magazine (French equivalent of People) at my grandma's home  . Was cutting all the pictures to put in my Celine's binder. Nowdays you have the cloud and external driveware :sofunny:

That's what I love about supporting the same international artist. We're all in different countries, with different cultures and we all have different memories and stories to share about a particular era, but we have Celine and her music in common.

I had a very similar experience! And before YouTube, we’d tape her T.V. appearances & ads so we could rewatch them over and over. I also made penpals in France & Canada so we could all buy duplicate magazines, clip all the Céline photos & interviews, and then mail to each other.

And that’s why the ANDHC/OH era was my favourite time to be a fan. She was absolutely everywhere in the media, from talk show appearances to television specials, and new singles got music videos — there was very little room to complain about her career. Her team always had something in the works for the fans!

Agreed. There were a few missteps along the way like choosing "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)" as a single, but for the most part, it was a truly exciting time!

I listened to that CD non-stop until I literally wore it out. Had to buy a new copy with no scratches/skips! Great time to be a fan.
