Interesting...I think that is what they have with I'm alive now. It is a lot more "go" in it now and recent year. I'm sure it can be even better but this one is pretty good now.

I think the opposite that drums and also percussion has bigger part now.

 

Btw I think a lot of other songs need more work. ANDHC I think it hasn't sounded that great live. Slow version in A new day was ok but the radio remix has not been great.

With strings in the orchestra now it's a shame ANDHC isn't in the setlist for this tour. But if it was they will probably under use them as they do now. They'll probably add the annoying trumpets. God I really don't like those trumpets. Gets me fired up just thinking of them, sorry!

Anyway hopefully ANDHC will be added later cause it's great!

 

I thought this version of the radio remix in 2008 was good? Even if she forgot the lyrics lol :sofunny:

 

The music was very close to the studio version imo :wub:

It's actually sooo good this version. I have it on repeat now playing while I check the forum :-D

 

I just love the small turns she gives to the lyrics here and there. If they had included this version on the live CD of TCWT, God knows I would had burnt that CD and this track :innocent: :wub: :P

Yeah I remember I didn't even realise it was a blooper first time I heard it. Read about it on the forum and after listening to it again it became pretty obvious.

But as you said pretty great save. And it's really good in its own way.

It is pretty close actually. Haven't listened that closely because I've focused more on the blooper, hehe :D

And also it's hard to hear because of the sound quality I think.

But yeah something in that direction would be awesome. One thing I think they could use more in live performances is to use more sampling or what it's called.

Like for example some electronic sounds from the studio version to fill the soundstage. Cause that is one thing with Celine live is that the music sounds a little empty for lack of a better word. I know it is about the voice but with great backup from the band she will sound better also. And since her voice isn't how it used to be, it's still great don't get me wrong, she would benefit even more. IMHO ;)

Just put the album on this morning... i'm at ANDHC, its a feel good album. Perfect to wake up with a coffee.

 

The more I try some other album that makes me feel this good, it's all in vain, there's not such a substitute for this album in her discography to me. Nada :wub:

 

Just the opening song is such an antidote to wake up every morning with a smile and keep going. But then it's like a story that developes and continues through all the songs until the closing track, with the larger-than-life motto: "the greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return". Can you find a more beautiful and perfect message to close a Celine Dion album? :blush:

 

Then I think there is also All Because Of You, Coulda Woulda Shoulda and I Have To Dream out there too, and who knows how many other songs infiltrated through the OH album and even others that still remain unknown to us, and the experience and the smile is even greater :blush:

 

I learnt it long ago, this is my Celine Dion album, and there won't be any other more that matches it...

I recently set BOTH as my morning alarm. The gentler ballad version is the first alarm, and the peppy, pop version is my “get your butt out of bed” alarm. I’m really happy with this decision :-)

For those who still doubt how BIG her comeback and success was in Europe... :wub:

 

I don't even know how many different posters and local versions adapted to each country did Sony Music for this album, but believe me, there are quite a few of them :laugh: The marketing campaign and support for this particular album was really impressive :wub: :wub: :wub:

I agree. Thematically the albums seem to be sharing similarities, so I would definitely like songs from ANDHC to be performed in the Courage tour.

 

A New Day Has Come, I'm Alive, Have You Ever Been In Love... :wub: And I could totally see Sorry For Love being part of a dance medley. :yes:

I've been with this image all day, thinking what would have been if she had performed ANDHC (ballad) in Vegas with the water curtain instead of MHWGO? Imagine it, after the instrumental bridge, when the climax on the ballad version comes and sings "let the rain come down and wash away my tears", and the water curtain started to come down on her... :wub: :wub: :wub: It would had worked amazingly good with ANDHC!!!

IMO, the tour’s only theme is “whatever Céline feels like singing this year”. It’a surely not as refined a theme as the Courage album seems to be - or any other album for that matter (unless you count LMBTL) :giggle:

 

But I agree with you: I would LOVE to hear some more songs from ANDHC that never got the chance.
