CSCfan Posted October 6, 2018 at 12:38 PM Posted October 6, 2018 at 12:38 PM (edited) Has anyone mentioned Miracle was originally intended for ANDHC? I mean, there's no way the vocals on it were recorded in '04 based on her tone alone, so I think it's safe to say it's one of those "lost songs" from the ANDHC recording sesh, no? Yes, and it was also originally entitled "Who Could Ever Love You More?"... I still find the song a true gem.. Bruno Portugal Posted October 6, 2018 at 01:00 PM Posted October 6, 2018 at 01:00 PM Yes, and it was also originally entitled "Who Could Ever Love You More?"... I still find the song a true gem.. When ANHHC was recorded Celine already had the "Miracle" project in mind. So she kept the song and changed the title. Beautiful indeed! 😉 1 Quote My Webpage >>> TRIBUTE TO CELINE DION
Javito Posted October 6, 2018 at 01:26 PM Posted October 6, 2018 at 01:26 PM (edited) Yes exactly, when I was looking for the rejected songs from the ANDHC sessions I found Miracle among other songs where Matthew Della Pola participated as a scoring consultant for the album, and he listed it as a "2002" song, but the song had the working title as "Who Could Ever Love You More" So based on this information and the fact that Céline's voice is definitely in top condition in this song and clearly stands out from the rest of the recordings done for Miracle which were nasal and with a "damaged" voice as hell because of the Vegas abuse (that was already emerging on this album and is clearly noticeable in songs like If I Could and What A Wonderful World), I too believe "Miracle" was recorded in 2002, but was kept for the project with Anne Geddes. So according to this, Who Could Ever Love You More would have been the 20th track in the ANDHC album that has been released and somehow "confirmed" to come from the 2002 sessions. I think Miracle is the most beautiful song on the album together with In Some Small Way. If we add "Who Could Ever Love You More" to the ANDHC list of songs, this album only gets better, building a bag of variety songs that make this album one of her most powerful combination of quality songs ever recorded  Edited October 6, 2018 at 01:39 PM by Javito 2 Quote "Hush, now... Of all the beautiful looks she has had in many years of her career, I'd say this is the best among the best  Not only the hair was spot-on, but the dress was also perfect. I think this era and the TC years were the only times where she has dressed according to her age, like a young 34/39 year old woman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtHVVGktgGM Edited October 9, 2018 at 09:57 AM by Javito 2 Quote "Hush, now... Javito Posted October 9, 2018 at 09:16 PM Posted October 9, 2018 at 09:16 PM (edited) Did you know...? On the A New Day Has Come video, Celine performed the song not only before the green screen for that setting created above the clouds, but also on that beach we can see at the end of the video. However, unfortunately those scenes weren't used in the final version of the video, where we can only see Céline at the end walking by the shore of the beach, but not singing the song, which is mostly performed "far above the clouds" I hope we can get to see this alternate footage of Celine performing the song in that beach setting some day... I think those scenes of Céline by the shore on that beach at night, full of people and life, having fun, with the full moon in the background, it all was a beautiful addition to the video Edited October 9, 2018 at 09:26 PM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... ryba Posted October 10, 2018 at 10:12 AM Posted October 10, 2018 at 10:12 AM but the unreleased version of goodbyes also leaked, so maybe there is a chance. But well, on the other hand i's been 16 years so it might be difficult (omg, can you believe it? 16 years, and I remember when the album was released, it was like last month lol ) 1 Quote

I hope that all of those unreleased goodies get released someday— and in times like these, where we are eagerly awaiting new material — we sure would LOVE some unreleased treats. It’s also a great time to rediscover past albums & concert footage. She’s accomplished some amazing things & sometimes we forget or take it all for granted. I’m personally loving her self titled album right now. Her voice is silky smooth perfection. 1 Quote

I came home from school some years ago and found one heart and ANDHC dripping with tea!! It turned out to be my brother and I fell out with him for weeks as he had just left it there to spoil. I was so mad! Ended up buying them again and never left any of my collection near him again! Kev x 3 Quote

Javito Posted October 23, 2018 at 10:21 AM Posted October 23, 2018 at 10:21 AM Did you know that according to these cardboard poster flats they used to made to promote her albums in the stores, they included the song "Right In Front Of You" along with the leas single "A New Day Has Come", "I'm Alive" and "At Last"? If we follow Sony's pattern with Céline to pick singles, the songs they highlight in her album stickers and posters are usually those who end up all being sent as singles to radios (At Last was sent as a promo single in the US). Also we've seen how the first three tracks on her albums are usually either selected as singles or promoted at some point with performances on TV or on shows (it happened with Taking Chances, LMBTL, D'elles, TAST, FIY, LTAL...). So RIFOY probably had lots of chances to have been a single from the ANDHC album, when it was mentioned in the promo posters of the album like this: After the ANDHC and IA hits, I think RIFOY would have been a perfect successor, and they could have done a beautiful video for it. However, we know how Celine and her marketing team LOVE ballads, and GTSW had to be the third single, the least appealing song to be played on radios in the album IMO... Quote "Hush, now... It was the first picture we had of her in 2002, I think around February?
