Honestly Your obsession Makes me giggle sometimes but its sooo cute i personally think she did so many photoshoots coz she literally had nothing else to do lol That's arguable... I don't see filters other than maybe much exposure and color saturation, but no photoshop on her face at all (unlike today). If you think she had filters in 2002 at 34 years old, don't know what you'll think of the most recent album photoshoots of 2013 and 2016 where they made her look like a doll and a totally artificial face expression in all the pictures taken by Alix Malka lol. incognito Posted July 2, 2018 at 04:04 AM Posted July 2, 2018 at 04:04 AM The greatness of the "A New Day Has Come" album lies not only of the unparalleled combination of classic Celine Dion ballads with uptempo songs and contemporary sounds, but also on the vast and outstanding photoshoot they did for it. http://celine-dion.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/n24.jpg http://celine-dion.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/n23.jpg I stood on that rock. 3 Quote

There's nothing wrong with that, airbrushed photos have existed since day 1 and it even comes natural in photography.I do have a problem with the absolute lack of creativity and the use and abuse of editing Céline's face to make her look silly and as if she was a 20 year old girl, and with a fake facial smiling expression that looks forced, which is repeated in every take of a whole photoshoot. That is what Alix Malka did in his work, not only for one but two photoshoots 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Filters in both essences but i really meant filters as in colour filters for scenery and light enhancements but maybe a few softening here and there. Love me back to life wasnt too bad actually neither was Sans Attendre but Encore Un soir was horrible she looked like Quagmire from family guy in some of them as they lessend her features but left her jawline and structure 1 Quote

Javito Posted July 2, 2018 at 11:50 AM Posted July 2, 2018 at 11:50 AM A New Day Has Come is an album that has always been closely linked with nature and its elements, from the start of its conception: The clouds and the sky of the first conceptual album cover, The flowers in the A New Day Has Come CD single, The album booklet that opens up with a double-page picture of the sunset in the beach (or dawn, depending on the view), The sea present both in the front, back and inside the booklet and liner notes, Then the ANDHC videoclip... Nature it's a constant through the concept of this album and it was beautifully portrayed in the many different pictures taken to inspire the concept. Most of the pictures were taken outdoors in real landscapes and settings, showing this particular feature of this album, probably unique among all Celine's photoshoots. http://celine-dion.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/n12.jpg 4 Quote "Hush, now... zuv Posted July 2, 2018 at 12:49 PM Posted July 2, 2018 at 12:49 PM In fact, there is one, very well-crafted! Céline is just...Wow! Enjoy! http://v.yinyuetai.com/video/h5/2565779?vid=2565779 That was weird, she acts like she could be singing If Walls Could Talk (abt sex n love making) yet the song is actually about her mother.... Critiaslux Posted July 2, 2018 at 08:13 PM Posted July 2, 2018 at 08:13 PM (edited) As if promotion for Céline's albums has always been good after the 1st/2nd single.... it really wouldn't have mattered. And that's not what happened, coz Céline and René already decided in 2000/2001 to do the Vegas show. Well, before LTAL, Céline promoted her albums longer: that's why we have live versions from various TV shows of different singles or album cuts of the eponymous album (even Prince's With this year), Des mots qui sonnent, TCOML (performing Walk Away in Greece!), D'Eux or FYI (performing live Call the Man at the World Music Awards more than a year after the album release). But then, with LTAL, the machine went crazy and Sony released a bunch of albums in a very short period of time, so that LTAT life span was shortened (promoted less than 9 months) + Celine doing a world tour + René's cancer. And since indeed, besides the original promo of ANHC until September / October 2002 (but what a promotion: we got so many TV shows and performances  ), she has barely promoted her albums more than the first 2 months. Well, If I understand correctly she has never really liked the promotional stuff but prefers being on stage. So I guess that since she achieved the highest ground, she wants her life being more what she likes than what sales need. Edited July 2, 2018 at 08:15 PM by Critiaslux 2 Quote

ryba Posted July 5, 2018 at 02:38 PM Posted July 5, 2018 at 02:38 PM (edited) I wonder if it was a real forest/garden or if it was a studio with fake trees. I think it was real though, because they were at the beach anyway so maybe the forest was very close to the beach. I would love to know the exact location where this shoot took place and do my vacation there! Edited July 5, 2018 at 02:38 PM by ryba 1 Quote
Javito Posted July 5, 2018 at 03:25 PM Posted July 5, 2018 at 03:25 PM (edited) I thought about that but I don't think they could fake trees with so many in-depth detail, and all of them look different to each other, even the soil looks so real. Considering the daylight photoshoot was done outdoors, and that there was a palm tree/tropical forest before the beach, why wouldn't they do a nightly session? Javito Posted July 14, 2018 at 09:12 PM Posted July 14, 2018 at 09:12 PM (edited) So I was looking for Unison pictures in Google and I came across with this very good quality version of the ANDHC album cover, but with a clear skies in more light tone that we discussed some weeks ago! This is a more fine version of the sky in the album cover, and the contrast between the blue of the sea and the blue in the sky is more credible in versions like this! (Please click on the link to get the full version) https://i.scdn.co/im...3473ff4039cda59 It went right to my wallpaper Edited July 14, 2018 at 09:34 PM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... Javito Posted August 1, 2018 at 09:32 AM Posted August 1, 2018 at 09:32 AM It hasn't been confirmed a vinyl release for this album afaik, but it's a matter of time, since they're releasing LTAL, FIY and TAST soon This is the only album I'm really looking forward to have on vinyl, not that much for the music (which I do too), but for the artwork... Quote "Hush, now...
