TCH is a nice album but other than Celine's voice, it's commonplace. She deserves an English album in w/c music, lyrics and vocals combine to form a unique, striking sound that others would want to imitate but can't.

Exactly. She just should have put something out ... even if that means to use the ''Eyes On Me'' Promo video. That could have been a promotion for the album and at the same time promotion for the tour since there are tour scenes in it.

I know! A prime opportunity to promote a new single.......anything really! It seems "Eyes on me" was the best received of the news songs in Boston according the Boston Globe.......maybe it would be a good choice???

 

But anything at this point would be a step ahead!!

Yup, I really thought the Today Show appearance would launch a single. There was only 1 single in the US, I think Sony just expected radio to pick up Alone on it's own - big mistake.

 

So they will just focus on the tour, selling tickets and merchandise. There's more $$s to be made there than on album sales nowadays.

 

I don't think we'll see any impact on the US charts for a while since she'll be in Canada for the rest of the month.

Every artist sings their greatest hits when on tour- Celine sings 5 songs from her new album which I think is fine- yes, there is room for more- CFTF, TJTWIM...but really with the Queen medley etc , think we've got a great show. It's wonderful to see her in front of you singing ABM and BYLM- it's Celine and it's magical

Well I think, AWTBI and SOL is not officially released worldwide as a single.

 

 

I hope they'll release "Fade Away" even if it will not do welll int he music charts ( but of course i hope it will ) so that a lot of people will know that Celine can reach very high notes.
