what are the general sales for TC and AND DVD?

Around 3M for the album and 1.4M for the DVD. Let's not forget that her back catalogue is doing nicely.

Only 3M? Rather 3.3M and maybe even 3.4 since TC sold 1,000,000 (maybe a little more) in the U.S alone.

It's so weird ESNRQ is still hoovering in the charts, but D'elles doesn't do a thing I guess people are still craving for a good French Céline song! I think Sony should release one more single, even only a radio/download single maybe Le Temps Qui Compte!

Dhruv I think she should have done a lot of things different for this amazing album D'elles!

 

A Cause should have been a commercial single with Alone as a b-side, plus that radio remix! they should have made more remixes too and distributed it to clubs. She should have made a video, any concept was good enough! Even something like One Heart, but without the computer animation...

 

and of course... she should have sung it on tour

Yeah, I know. That's why my sister didn't like her but then I let her listen to her version of Alone and she loves her now. People need to listen to the "new" Celine. Her style is much edgier and hard core than it usually is and I love that she took a chance. (No pun intended)

Probably this is the most ridiculous thing for a new comeback album! No 2nd single and video to promote, and nobody seems to care at all!! I mean, it's really stupid, the album's potential is much higher and they are only concetrating on the tour, whose main target will be left undone because of the lack of promotion! I know it's boring repeating all these things again and again, but the main picture that eventually comes out to people is "Greed for money"! Ok, "Taking Chances" is an album appealing to Celine's fans and Celine recorded it for us, but maybe they should also listen to us at once! They can't just serve us something and expect that we'll remain silent and happy! I saw Celine live after being a hardcore fan for 6+ years and I've realised that Celine can easily regain her massive reputation with just a few good steps.

In general, Celine is a "master" on the charts nowadays, regarding her popularity levels, but it's not fair for us, who are continuously supporting her to watch her dropping like this!

For me, she should start up building the whole thing again, beginning from France with a new masterpiece album made by J.J Goldman, and then preparing a powerful english album giving special attention to it, and not recording it in just 10 days to finish up quickly. She can make an innovation, counted to her standards, with some exceptional producers! AND, all these under a new contract in another lebel, OR under some new rules on the existing company which will define Celine's and Rene's demands on the promotion and the management of the album!

If Celine takes a break now, it will be SOOOO difficult for her to come back again with a new project! She hasn't achieved anything big for many yrs now, and in 2 yrs from now she could have probably been lost! Let her take a six month break and then start working again! RENEEEEEE wake up!!
