according the Delta Goodrem forum, Delta along with Kristian Lundin and Savan Kotecha wrote a song for Celine called Eyes On Me.

If that is true, I can say that I have at least a good motive to buy this album...

 

 

Sorry if this is old news, but I saw Ne-Yo on the news last night and he said two things - he was personally requested by Celine and jumped at the chance to work with her, and that, when asked if he was going to turn Celine into a R&B star, he said "no, I like her as a pop star". That was it.

 

That changes a little my point of view... That interview he gave to that Australian radio was still stuck in throat, but as this time he said good things, maybe I can come to like the idea of his participation in the album...

 

Truth is: When I started reading this thread I was like , then I went like and after 62 pages I finally got like I'm SO confused!!! Can't wait to see this press conference to help me clarify my mind a little!

 

 

 

Oke remixes happened, rap happened etc... but somehow I still can't see a black man rapping away throughout a Celine song (like Say it right, that Mariah song etc)

She tried it recently on TF1 special, Caroline. So never say never.

 

And that was incredible! I loved it!

So they have mixed dates. But I think new single in Oct, new album in Nov sounds more correct. And also on more press.

According to the Japanese press, this is Celine's first come back album since "All The Way" album. They mentioned the #1 Diva would be revived with new English album in November after 8 years everywhere.

Okay, that's a partial lie. They released the regular CD during the TCOML era, but not the 3" disc until '96.

To Love You More was a radio hit here in the summer of 1999 if I am not mistaken....

You're all worrying to much. Remember what Celine said? She will never change "her style". She's just adding some more modern songs so that she can get a bigger audience. She'll still sing her sappy ballads - that's her thing, that's what makes her Celine Dion.

 

And right now whoever I see I say hi and then I start rambling all this mumbo jump stuff about Celine's upcoming album LOL. When you hear it, it might sound something like... "bdfgfgbkljbdfiohaipuwetibnmcnb,isahogwhulohgrohgbkjhdfgkladgfb OMG!" Let's just say there's a high level of anticipation inside the Erikaster for the new Celine album.

The queen of naff in her $95m show at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas

 

The eternal mystery of who exactly buys Celine Dion records - 175m and counting - may have been solved. And the answer could surprise you. It turns out that some of the most credible names in music are huge fans of the earnest Canadian crooner. Tim "Timbaland" Mosley - producer for Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliot - is working on her new album, along with Ne-Yo, songwriter for Beyoncé and Britney.

 

Amazingly, it may not just be cold, hard cash that motivates them. Timbaland has been attending Dion's $95m Las Vegas show on a regular basis. Prince has been at least three times. Timberlake took a break from being pop's Mr Cool to come down, and Britney, Ice T and Alice Cooper have been spotted among the 4,100-strong audience (although Cooper, apparently, just said he wanted to see what a $95m concert looked like).

Even Rick Rubin, another of the world's most revered producers, has been to the specially built "Roman Coliseum" at Caesars Palace to see 39-year-old Dion belt out My Heart Will Go On, The Power of Love and Beauty and the Beast.

 

This is the man who founded Def Jam Records, revived Johnny Cash's career and still found time to produce Jay-Z's 99 Problems and the last three albums by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

 

So what do they see in a woman who, according to those who have seen the show, feigns surprise at seeing the audience every time she comes on stage, and dedicates every performance to "the children"?

 

"Celine has such a beautiful, mesmerising voice," Timbaland told Elle magazine. "She is so talented. I think we could create something that is a classic like she already is."

 

Dion may have other ideas: "It must not be too edgy," she said in a recent interview. "It must be comforting. So I'm not going to change."

 

If that doesn't mesh with Timbaland's skittish, rhythmic style, perhaps Robson and Jerome would welcome his input on a comeback.
