i think we should not get over excited about the buzz around her so called comeback . PEREZ loves celine and as we know he couldnt care less about other's opinions - it's still not THE MEDIA...it's one very important blogger , the most important one .

let's just hope he'll remind people of celine when the single comes out - i'm sure he will YET in order for this comeback to be a commercial success celine has to penetrate the mainstream media somehow - the important magazines , tv shows...

 

her final show might actually promote her new album if they r smart about it - i just dont want to build up all those expectations cause we all know who we r dealing with here and i can already see how angry we r going to get at sony for ruinning this "comeback"

I doubt he reads us. HOWEVER, he will reply to EVERY EMAIL sent to him. I've kept in contact w/ him about Amy Winehouse appearances and he always writes back (Not BS pre-written letters, but distinctive responses) When he wries 'EXCLUSIVE' (like he did with the Celine story), he means it... wait 2 weeks or so and the mainstream media will report it...

(Novum) - Na een pauze van vier jaar komt Céline Dion met een nieuw Engelstalig studioalbum. De plaat moet in november in de winkel liggen, meldt showbizzblogger Perez Hilton op zijn website. De Canadese zangeres werkte samen met heel wat grote namen uit de muziekindustrie. Zo produceerden de hiphoppers Timbaland en Ne-Yo enkele nummers.

 

 

 

Met Dave Stewart, van het Britse duo Eurythmics, schreef de 39-jarige zangeres het nummer 'Taking a chance'. Ook werkte ze aan drie nummers met Ben Moody, één van de oprichters van de rockband Evanescence. R&b-zanger R. Kelly schreef eveneens enkele nummers voor de cd.

Volgens de Nederlandse fansite Celinedion.nl komt Dion volgend jaar voor een optreden naar Nederland. In september worden de Europese data voor haar aankomende toer officieel bekendgemaakt. Haar wereldtournee gaat op Valentijnsdag van start in Zuid-Afrika.

Dion, die begin jaren negentig internationaal doorbrak met de ballad 'The power of love', bracht in 2003 haar laatste Engelstalige studioalbum uit, 'One heart'. De artieste scoorde hits met nummers als 'Because you loved me' en 'My heart will go on'. Ze bracht dit jaar en in 2005 nog wel Franstalig werk uit.

Lol yep.. I read that they put up an article about Madonna's new album and I thought.. Madonna's not the only one releasing a new album. So I made a mail, sent it to Nu.nl, Nieuws.nl, Novum & the ANP and within the hour that was put up! And now it's spreading like fire.. (Boulevard has it on its site, same for "De Pers" (also in today's paper))

Titanic singer Celine Dion is finally getting a musical makeover... thanks to hip producer Timbaland.

 

This year, he has teamed up with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, and now he'll shape Celine's album, due in October.

 

We're told that, along with her typical power ballads, will be R&B, hip-hop and rock tunes penned by R Kelly and Ne Yo.

i'm sorry but celine already recorded a song NE-YO wrote and let's hope it's not more than one song

as for R.KELLY - i'm very happy he is writing for her and i'm even happier to read how excited he is about it...

and yes TIMBALAND is part of the team too however we dont know for sure if he is going to make the final cut

well to combine those two... I think THLAL the Metro Club Mix is 1000 times better then the album version!

 

Oke remixes happened, rap happened etc... but somehow I still can't see a black man rapping away throughout a Celine song (like Say it right, that Mariah song etc)
