Do you think Celine will share more info on the album with her audience on August 15th? or maybe she will be instructed not to do so...??

she'll do whatever she wants to . they can kiss goodbye their plans to keep it all a secret - it's all out there now and celine and her team will have to comment on the rumors . some we already know r not just rumors

i'm sure celine will talk with the crowd about the recordings when she comes back - she is probably very excited and we all know celine loves to share her feelings with all of us

the only question is whether someone will be there to tell us what she said

Celine is still bound by confidentiality agreements so what she shares with us (either at A New Day... or through the media) will be governed by precisley what she is "allowed" to share. Sony is, in my opinion, surrounding this album in secrecy and I personally think the anticipation is fantastic. celine's 1st album might be r&b and rock + the 2nd one will be full of ballads so she can please her fans and touch young generations and climb to the top of the charts everywhere...

 

CAN U IMAGINE CELINE SINGING WITH TIMBALAND ON "THE WAY I ARE"... i am listening to the song right now and cant imagine celine doing something like this song even though it is lovely and it pushed Rihanna from the number one spot in UK charts...

yeah but have you seen the kinds of replies people have posted in there? i know that site tends to bring out a particularly rude brand of a******, but i dont know if the rest of the world thinks that differently. to them, the thought of celine working with timbaland is joke. it really depends with what Timbaland comes up with for her. I dont think it will be something different for Celine. Probably a typical Celine sound with a bit of Timbaland flavor, so it wont be too much of a departure for her. should be interesting though...

Justin, Nelly Furtado and Madonna have all hit up musical mastermind Timbaland for their beats. Now Timba is set to grind out some tunes for Celine Dion. The songstress is set to take a new musical direction as her signature ballads combined with hip hop and R&B. The former Vegas show girl's new album, which will also feature wunderkind producer Ne-Yo, is set to drop this fall.

it ccan be accurate sometimes. a week ago they had another list of rumored or confirmed tracks and one of them was something like "the way a woman moves" or something like that produced by timbaland, but i don't know

The forthcoming English album of Céline Dion is scheduled for release in November 2007.[1] Dion is working with many various record producers, mainly on rock, R&B and soul songs.

As of May 21, 2007, Céline Dion already recorded four songs for her new English project. Rock-oriented tracks were written and produced by Ben Moody.[2] One of them was co-written by Scott "Skippy" Chapman and Michael Tait. She continued the recording during her summer vacations between July 2, 2007 and August 15, 2007.[3] The first result was a piano ballad written by Robert Wells and Anders Bagge.[4]

 

According to the ELLE article from July 2007, David A. Stewart from Eurythmics worked on a song for Dion, and R. Kelly wrote two tracks.[5] PerezHilton.com reported on July 29, 2007 that the title of the Stewart-produced track is "Taking A Chance." [6]

 

The new album will include "I Knew I Loved You," performed by Céline Dion at the 2007 Academy Awards to honor Ennio Morricone.[7] The song, based on a theme from Once Upon a Time in America, was featured on the CD We All Love Ennio Morricone. "I Knew I Loved You" with lyrics by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman, was produced by Quincy Jones.Behind the scenes studio footage of Celine recording this song can be viewed in the premier episode of the QuincyJones.com Podcast [1].

 

 

In February 2007 Dion recorded a song with Annie Lennox for her new album Songs of Mass Destruction, which will be released on October 1, 2007.[8] The track is called "Sing," it was produced by Glen Ballard and features many other female vocalists. But it's unlikely that it will be included on Dion's forthcoming English project.

 

Céline Dion recorded also two versions (English and Italian) of her French song "La Diva" from D'Elles. One of them may become a part of her English album.

 

The song EYES ON ME by Delta Goodrem, Kristian Lundin and Savan Kotecha is also rumored to be part of this album.

 

Dion was reported also working with: Walter Afanasieff, Babyface, Bryan Michael Cox, Kara DioGuardi, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Kristian Lundin, Christopher Neil, Ne-Yo, Aldo Nova, Nicolas Porte, John Shanks, and Timbaland.[9]

 

It's possible that the album will include unreleased songs co-written by Céline Dion: "Isabella," "Drop by Drop" and "Over You Baby."[10]

 

The singer will promote this album during her forthcoming world tour in 2008.[11]

Back when ANDHC was released a friend told me that Athens radio was playing "Rain, Tax" a lot

 

Its so weird that we're not sure if Timbaland will be a part of the album.All the media refering to that, wouldn't they have confirmed it?

Interesting wikipedia news, not really reliable source especially as far as unreleased songs are concermed but still surely good enough for rumour mill. On a side note I could REALLY imagine Ne-Yo writing a song called "It Will Never Go Away".

 

In the meantime I advice everyone to put in D'elles. It's a great album and I don't want it to go by unnoticed.

And in no way sould we think Madonna's collaboration with Timba will be revolutionary. She is flip-flopping the whole damn time and ppl are buying it cuzz she's... Madonna! But there's absolutely nothing revolutionary neither in her image nor in her music since about 1995. She's gone completely mainstream and she should be seen as such. Just like Céline she wants to work with the hottest producers out there. Madonna doesn't equal revolutionary. If she is revolutionary then Céline's the best thing ever since sliced bread cuzz she can actually carry a tune properly. Live.
