salsacolin Posted February 8, 2007 at 12:03 AM Posted February 8, 2007 at 12:03 AM I dont know - it seems so long ago. I think it would be much better if DWMF was a b-side. I do love it but I would prefer a b-side to the lead single. I would prefer all new tracks. Or at least save it until the next collectors series with IIRTW I dont think they will add IIRTW as it would be more fitting on LTAL. Esty Posted February 8, 2007 at 11:20 AM Posted February 8, 2007 at 11:20 AM If the English album is going to be NEW then let it be really new! I have nothing against putting IKILY on it since it's a recent song, it's great and it sures deserves to be on the album (and maybe it well sell more...). But that's enough of old songs. So I agree that there should be no recycling of old songs. If they really want to put other songs on the album (like DWMF) they should be extra extra bonus tracks. However those songs should be left to The Collector's Series Vol. 2. Quote

samart Posted February 8, 2007 at 04:03 PM Posted February 8, 2007 at 04:03 PM I disagree. I'd like to hear R'n'B songs on her new album just as undertone. You know, Celine always was "best selling", "best singing", best, best, best...I don't want to hear some new "cool" duets with "cool" artists like Nelly, snoop..etcetera. I like for example "buttons" by P-Dolls, but I don't wanna hear the same from Celine. It is another level. She is definitely the best singer that we have now. If she becomes "very cool" as another, I will just listen her unbelievable heartful songs and not to pay attention that I'm listening OLD songs. However, it's only my opinion. Quote
nico robin Posted February 8, 2007 at 05:21 PM Posted February 8, 2007 at 05:21 PM it wasnt meant for u actually and i think celine can record something much deeper and much more emotional as a tribute to her father <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that would be lovely, but no more old songs, we need someting new and fresh, i'd like an RnB album i can't wait!!! Bellamy Posted February 9, 2007 at 10:10 AM Posted February 9, 2007 at 10:10 AM She has enough time to promo the album in early November. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
thevoice Posted February 9, 2007 at 10:16 AM Posted February 9, 2007 at 10:16 AM she doesnt . if she really wants this album to be her big comeback they must delay the release ...the first few weeks r very important and she wont have the time to promote it then+europ is out of question until the end of december. Quote
amelie Posted February 9, 2007 at 10:23 AM Posted February 9, 2007 at 10:23 AM i think its fine rly...With such a fan base the album will have great sales during the firs 2 weeks anyway...she can promote it in the US and afterwards in Europe...that way the sales will keep coming and they'll have something to talk about too cause Celine will be giving the last shows in Las Vegas and such...just my thought...besides...October means probably end of October...and could always be a bit delayed Quote

I really don't think that's a coincidence.. She will promote the album in the US accordingly during that period and of course also when she's touring. Non-fans already get to know about the English album right now (well in advance, 9 months, in all the recent articles) so promo has basically already begun. Anyway, this way the album will have a long life span.. I'm actually more concerned about her French album.. she should really go to France to promote it, but I doubt that will happen.. Ronny83 Posted February 9, 2007 at 11:31 PM Posted February 9, 2007 at 11:31 PM I wonder how the English album will be promoted in the French speaking areas. I mean, they will have the third French single at the time the English album is out. Will they use the AND...LILV/Miracle strategy (= to add the French current single on the English album)? mirage Posted February 11, 2007 at 10:58 AM Posted February 11, 2007 at 10:58 AM Producer Kendrick Dean(10:00 a.m. GMT) In an interview with the 'Orlando Sentinel', producer Kendrick Dean reveals that he has "a potential project with Celine Dion." Kendrick Dean is a Grammy-nominated music producer at tonight's 49th Annual Grammy Awards for Chris Brown's self-titled release in the top contemporary R&B album category. Dean and Bryan-Michael Cox collaborated as producers on "Bad Habit," on the 2004 Destiny's Child album Destiny Fulfilled, a Grammy-nominated album at last year's ceremony. His songwriting credits include Danity Kane's ballad "Ride For You" as well as songs for Chris Brown ("Say Goodbye"), Trey Songz, Claudette Ortiz and Brian McKnight. He also did "One Shot," the theme song for last year's edition of MTV's Making The Band. Quote

Céline's Blues Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:07 AM Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:07 AM She should go for it I say! Better than having the Swedes there! Anyway, gogo, we don't even know for sure if Quincy is a part of the team so it's good to hear some new names. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
mirage Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:09 AM Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:09 AM dont know what i think about it... whole album of RnB and then as a bonus: I Knew I Loved You on it... whahahahha ah well RnB is an wide theme... have u listen to Nelly Furtado's: Good things come to an end? Thats RnB too, and i think that will suite celine more then a yo yo rappy thing...and Unfaithfull by Rhianna... i dont love those songs, but i think when its written and made for Celine Dion it will be new and cewl... There are producers with which Céline has never worked before and every producer if he works with her for the first time he wants to give to Céline something really GOOD. That's how it worked with Jim Steinman, David Gategno, Peer Anstrom or others. When she works with them for the first time we will have something at least listenable on her level! Mid-Tempo ballads. thevoice Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:19 AM Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:19 AM u dont really know it seb .and considering the fact that some of those producers r working at the same time with britney and whitney , who said celine will get the best stuff? anyway - i want something refreshing too , i want something just like her new french single...i wont mind an entire album like this first french single , she should just take her french team to produce her next english album Quote
Céline's Blues Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:21 AM Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:21 AM We should definitely NOT expect much from the English album. thevoice Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:26 AM Posted February 11, 2007 at 11:26 AM i'm afraid it might not happen at all seb . the more we hear about other producers taking part in this project , the less chances that quincy is part of it Quote
