thevoice Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:33 AM Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:33 AM i actually said it seb lol!since we heard about those RNB producers and we also know quincy and celine worked together it's only logical to assume quincy might produce this album anyway - dont u think october is too early commercial wise? she'll have 2 more months in vegas!! VinnyT. Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:34 AM Author Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:34 AM OMG!!!!!!!! amazing news!!! probably this will become a commercial single!! But how are they gonna combine Ne-Yo with Quincy Jones on her new english album? :s<{POST_SNAPBACK}>As Vinny said it may be that Ne-Yo will write and Quincy will produce... I wish! We would have definitely a classic then.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>yeah may be Quincy is also working on Whitney new album and Ne-Yo as well! Céline's Blues Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:48 AM Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:48 AM Yes, we should be discussing the CD here. ahah Anyway Renato, they did mix many things up on ANDHC and what was the result? Look how amazing album would ANDHC be if it had only a theme of slow ballads/mid-tempos: 1. A New Day Has Come (radio mix)2. Right In Front Of You3. Have You ever Been In Love4. Ten Days5. Goodbye's The Saddest Word6. Prayer7. I Surrender8. At Last9. Sorry For Love (the original and tHEN as single the REMIX released on a single)10. The greatest Reward11. SuperLove12. Nature Boy13. All Because Of You14. A New Day Has Come (studio version) This would be a whole different album than it actually is. What it is is a schizophrenic effort. I like cohesion and I say the Swedish Fundation has greatly confused Céline up to the point where you could say ANDHC was just a compilation, not an album. Needless to say I'm truly hoping for Quincy being the MAIN producer of Céline's next album. It would fit SO WELL into the modern RNB theme without being a slut!!! She would be a hip stylish queen of slow RNB jams produced by a legend! Quincy is the only rescue in this case. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

stevo Posted February 7, 2007 at 01:31 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 01:31 PM (edited) I think if IKILY is on her English album and she is indeed working with these boys from da hood, it means she will try and please all of us- which is good for me as I like her singing anything really (except 'Mommy wants to protect you'). I like ANDHCs schizophrenia- from ANDHC ballad to sorry for love- I love it. It's her best album. OFFICIAL. ...and we can expect her singing duets with Michael Buble and Snoopy Snoop dawwwwwwwwg. It'll be amazing. Hehe. The latter maybe I wouldn't enjoy...maybe someone sexy like usher...word up- Celine Dion- my gurlfren.... Edited February 7, 2007 at 01:33 PM by stevo Quote

anewdayhascome Posted February 7, 2007 at 01:59 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 01:59 PM (11:20 a.m. GMT) Céline Dion will be performing at the 79th Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 25th (at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC). Céline will grant a desire of the revered Italian composer Ennio Morricone who will be receiving the Life Achievement Award at this year's ceremony. She will be performing a NEW song: "I Knew I Loved You", that will be included on the upcoming all-star tribute album celebrating the music of Morricone, "We All Love Ennio Morricone" due on February 20th, and also on Dion's upcoming English-language album to be released in OCTOBER 2007.so we are having the album in October for sure! thevoice Posted February 7, 2007 at 02:00 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 02:00 PM (edited) well to me it all becomes more and more clear...few days ago i wrote that she might work with quincy on her new cd since it's only logical - they were in the studio together already recording IKILY + we heard about those RNB producers that will work on her next record and it just seems to fit . we might be wrong but if it's a concept album and if quincy is there we wont get a trashy RNB album ...we'll get something else...better...hopefuly good it's still too early to predict but we already know IKILY will be part of her next english album - do u really think that quincy was involved only on this 1 track? i bet rene asked him to take this project! Bullet Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:08 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:08 PM I really hope Quincy will be in charge of the new album! But that's probably too much to ask... Let's say, half the songs? He might take over from David Foster!! And I heard Garou is also working on an English album... so that could mean an English Celine-Garou duet to help promote Garou in the English-speaking market - and he would of course be the opening act on her world tour... Céline's Blues Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:51 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:51 PM I was just wondering about "Dance With My Father"... this song deserves to be on Céline's light RNB album, as well! I would really apploud her for including it there! It means an awful lot to her surely and it would be a nice tribute to her father. AAAAAND it would fit very nicely into the album theme. thevoice Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:55 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:55 PM no , not again!! i want the new english album to be new!! IKILY is a song she recently recorded and it can fit the album , but nothing more than this one...i got tired of them recycling songs Quote
Céline's Blues Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:59 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 06:59 PM IF there would be ONe song I would like Céline to put on her new English album is the song that is probably the most personal song for her in English! Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
stevo Posted February 7, 2007 at 07:03 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 07:03 PM I agree and think it's highly likely that it'll be on there- while it's not OH MY GOD amazing it is a lovely song and she sings it well. Quote

I would really like her to record more songs with such sleek drum'n'bassy production. Without going over the top, of course. The theme of the album would not be that schizophrenic after all then! I would be the first then to buy it. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

stevo Posted February 7, 2007 at 07:09 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 07:09 PM (edited) If she does R n B it'll be at this level- no more. She's not completey daft. She can't record a song like IKILY and in the same breath sing about bringin theboys to her lake las Vegas yard with her milkshakes. Which I hasten to add would be very low fat. Who knows, they might even add Il Divo's IBIY- now that'd get us arguing. Hehe. Edited February 7, 2007 at 07:11 PM by stevo Quote

thevoice Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:21 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:21 PM in the studio version of DWMF celine gave her poorest vocal performance in recent years , i hate her original rendition and anyway - what's wrong with some of u?!? dont u want to get as many new songs as possible?! do u really want them to put old songs to fill the album?!? stevo Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:27 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:27 PM I didn't say I wanted it- I just think it's highly likely that DWMF will make it on there. Celine's Dad dies, it's her tribute to him...I'd be surprised if it's not. Quote
thevoice Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:31 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 11:31 PM it wasnt meant for u actually and i think celine can record something much deeper and much more emotional as a tribute to her father Quote
