No words on producers, songs, themes... just the usual buzz and the fact that she will release an English CD after all is all she seems to be about in English. I think she will record it in September in 3 days (26 songs) and then they will release 16 in November. I still think the first single will be "Baby, I'm so hi" - perhaps not with Britney but with Ciara this year.

i just read that mariah carey and paul maccartny will guest star on american idol this season as guest judges...ohhh can u imagine celine sitting there? i wish she'll be there and suprise everyone by being cruel to the young talents . i can already hear her saying "what was thaaaaaaaat?"...."u can not hit a note right" or "ohh my god i'm gonna puke"...ohhh celine will steal simon's show and she'll gain her reputation back...no more sweet celine , that was all a show .

I just didn't give up on it. I'm just stating things like they are being presented... which is quite sad actually. No news on the concept at all! At least for Miracle and OH we had like FAINT ideas as the press release said it's supposed to be a more "rock oriented album" or in case of Miracle a "lullaby album". Now it's clear they want MILK MILK MILK money! It's pitiful cuzz you can also milka money with quality stuff.

I think it is a little early for them to release the concept of the new CD - plus we didn't even know about OH more than a few months in advance. I think they care about this CD and will put together some great songs for it. If they don't, then what is the point in touring? If the CD is great, her tour will be great. The two will feed off of each other.

Oooooooooh. As much as I'm sick of Mariah getting so much attention these days....it's going to be GREAT to have the idols sing all of her classic songs! She has TONS to choose from. That will be a fun show.

 

I'm not sure how I feel about Celine going on the show. I guess if she does Deal Or No Deal, then American Idol would be a step up. And it would be great to hear ALL of the contestants choose from her songs....I'm sure there would be some daring ones, or at least one daring person, who would do her French stuff.

 

Anyway, perhaps in the season after this one(which may be the last season of the show), Celine will go on....which will be even better than going on this year!!

Exactly adnd let me tell you if D'elles will be a hit in Europe (which is unlikely now but IF it will actually) then Sony will postpone the English album into 2008 for sure!

Yeah this is actually not that much of a news since we knew it already and it's indeed like the only thing we know!

 

And gogo, I can imagine Quincy and Céline working together on her next English CD buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut it ain't gonna happen! It would be herher best English album, tho.

Please relax, this English album is coming out in 11 months!!! I'm sure they still have things to finalize before informing the world. And besides, they first have to finalize the French one before promoting the English album. We won't know much until about 6 months prior to release... Easy guys....

Nope, Ferland has written only this one although he said he may write more since Céline specifically asked him to. The song is original and in English.

Gogo, please, don't underestimate her - point is she recorded almost all of her English albums within months MAXIMUM so it's not gonna be like she will be recording the whole year or preparit it like a whole year like she usually does with her French albums.

 

I'm sure the album will be passable, not really thrilling but passable. And yes, better than ANDHC and OH.

working with ne - yo is not a good sign...the music and the production might be good but the lyrics wont mean a thing cause that's what goes today...u can learn about the quality of his work from the fact that he is writing to britney spears...i dont want celine to work with the same team that work for britney!

celine can work with whomever she wants to yet she and rene r always finding the easiet way instead of working with real legends and actually sing about something deep and real and not about how beautiful life is and how we r all alive

what is she afraid from? why not taking songs from the greatest song writers in the world , find a theme for the project and go for it - and i'm not talking about something like "miracle" .

she lost her father for god's sake , her husband almost died and she has to face the fact that she might loose him someday - she can make an entire project about it...about being afraid to be alone , missing her father , being afraid of loosing rene and her mother - yes it's sad but the greatest songs and the greatest pieces of art r coming from this place of sadness and agony .
