To be true, I just wanna feel exactly what I felt when I heard "I drove all night" for the first time. I can remember that it was the radio remix that was on the net. I woke up one day and nobody was expecting but there was the new single! I heard the music and thought: "OMG! What the hell is that???". It was PERFECT. And even if someone here will say something different, I clearly remember fans all over the web saying it was a very good surprise and that it would be #1 at Billboard. What a feeling! La chanteuse québécoise était en studio quelques jours avant Noël !

 

Alors que son nouvel album est prévu pour le 22 mai 2007, Céline Dion est entrée en studio les Jeudi 21 et Vendredi 22 décembre 2006, afin de travailler sur 7 des 12 chansons qui le composent. La chanteuse prépare donc un retour en force avec la sortie de ce nouvel opus, intitulé « D´Elles » (en réponse à « D´Eux », l´un de ses précédents disques). Cet album a pour particularité d´avoir été composé à 100% par des femmes !Céline prévoit la sortie d´un autre album totalement anglophone pour la fin de l´année 2007 : c´est son fils René-Charles qui va rien comprendre !

I want this album to be an artistic and critical success more than a crowd pleaser. I want it to be successful enough for it to not be a joke....but she really needs critical success with this next release.

i wonder whether celine will include duets in this album...we know how much she loves it and we know that almost noone will say no to a duet with her...

 

also - i bet that atleast one of the songs will be the theme song of a movie...i just hope this time it will be an emotional number from a great movie...

There was a brief comment from Stuart Price on the U.S. television station E! in their weekly news segment. He stated that he is working with Madonna on a new record for the new year and that it is going to be quite a work of art, that they are building the sound on dance, R&B, and a some Rock n Roll, a totally new sound from their previous collaborations and that they were very excited to finish. He also said she has collaborated with some top producers that are in fashion right now.

They need to give us something to start creating the necessary hype that helps promote an album...that's what Madonna and others all have that Ceine doesn't usually...no hype- just run of the mill type stuff- we need a controversial story or duet or summit so people know what's coming...a spectacular new album from the greatest singer in the world- we hope.

Then later the news reported that Rene invited the man and his wife to the AND show and met with them after the show. Then I heard on the news that Celine and Rene liked the song and agreed to use it on her next English album. Does anyone else remember this? Will this song be on the next English CD?

D’Elles, su nuevo álbum, estará totalmente interpretado en ese idioma.

if it's true and they r going to release the album in november i hope it will be the end of the month . her last show is december 15 , if she wants big first week sales she'll have to do oprah , leno , the view , GMA , letterman , ellen and how the hell is she gonna promote her album in europ for the first few weeks? she'll still be in vegas!

 

i hope she'll promote it before it will be too late ...so i guess we should hear the first single around july...
