Claudette Dion bursts into tears while listening to her sister Céline

I really find it odd with how distant they seem from Celine almost as if they have to reach out to her team to have contact with her. Maybe it’s not the case and that’s how they answer questions in order to avoid giving details but seems strange to me.

“Acheté”? 😬

I think she means she bought a flight tickets to Paris there surely no way that Celine’s sister is paying to see her? 🤣

Love that Celine is back and I do really like the new single compared to Dansons. Im so pleased that she is doing well and we get to enjoy her music. Cant wait to see her in Sept. A few thoughts tho about this comeback…

1) The BPM cover is terrible.

2) Also Its a pity we have not actually seen Celine during any of her “comeback” music singles. We have went from seeing the back of her head on the Dansons single cover to no Celine at all on the BPM single cover.

3) They should have released BPM as the comeback single with Dansons as a B side.

4) Music videos for both songs.. and also two lyric videos that were teasers to the release of the actual videos. BPM could have been beautiful with celine simply on stage in a beautiful dress choir coming in at the end. Dansons - the music video we got but with moments of Celine singing sliced in throughout the video would not have been hard and had more impact.

5) Then build excitement to the release of the album

Even that. If I were Celine, I would tell my assistant: “book all my sisters n brothers (plus 3 guests) all first class flights, get them the best seats at my concert and book an entire hotel floor downtown paris.”

but thats just me

L'album de Madonna est une telle déception, mais heureusement que Céline a sauvé la mise.

but everyone only talks about Madonna, people totally ignore Celine. when I hear the mediocrity of his 2 new titles I already know that his album will be very bad. Madonna has a real promotion and a team, Celine is empty.

Well, she has told us years ago that some of her siblings/in-laws treated her like an ATM, even in the early nineties.

I'm sure she will still treat them on occasion, but she probably keeps her guard up and keeps (some of) them at a distance. I wouldn’t be surprised though if she's in closer contact with some of her siblings we never hear about.

So, to be clear, the chances are before her concerts begin we’ll get another new single and at THAT point they plan to release a vinyl containing the previous two singles?

Very Sony and TeamCeline isn’t it? Make it make sense.

I seriously don't get it.

Well I understand the idea of releasing a vinyl just before the shows. But this is just weird.

Drop the vinyl now with Danson on it. And the week before the show drop another vinyl for the 3rd single, put single #1 and #2 on it. And maybe a extra remix or whatever.

How come we have the best ideas and the ones that get paid for them are just messing things up?

And something tells me Sony seriously doesn't care anymore. Like why is there no video?

Not just a new photo but arguably her best photo in years. She looked great, and they wasted it. Very on brand for team Celine.

Look how great this one is… by black tooth, the fans should start being approached for her graphics.

This is indeed a much better cover.

When you’re a true Queen you don’t need to invade all public sphere from grindr to Time Squares to promote new music.

You just release quality.

Let s be honest

BPM is no way more qualified than Madonna s new album.

at least Madonna has chosen a competent team to manager her promotion.

I am not saying it s Celine s fault but, please, let s not fall into that trap where we call Madonnna for non-qualified music. I like her new album and I love Celine s new song.

im fine with both.

Madonna deserve all of this momentum. She paved the way for so many, being an idol even for Celine.

im sure Celine will have her moment too. even tho with her actual team, I hardly believe this.

maybe we need to reach out as a fan base and support Madonna. she s facing a lot of hate cause of her age. Celine too.

I don’t know maybe I’m just too excited about Celine‘s new single but I’ve been waiting for this confession on the dance floor part DEUX for a year now. And to me, the album falls flat.

Sorry.

The general public sees Madonna as a big joke these days...

And people may not talk about Céline all the time, but when she has concerts,we all see how fast the tickets sold out...

As a very wise man once said:"In showbiz, the public is always right!"😉

What's wrong with the music world nowadays? Sorry, but this is awful.

I mean, the LMBTL and EUS lyric videos are nice, but this one is terrible.

Aren't they filming real videos anymore? Even Madonna only has visualizer videos.🙄

Unfortunately it's an industry wide problem ( not to say that celine´s team isn´t lazy, because they are). And now that the billboard charts don´t count youtube views the problem is even worse.

They should release a French and an English single before the Paris Show in Autumn. A teaser for the show/ French album and a teaser for the new English album.

Some thoughts on BPM:

First of all, what a convenient abbreviation 😅

Second, I love the song. Yes, there is an infinite amount of extra things that could’ve been done with it. So, in that sense, you could say it doesn’t ‘go anywhere’, which is a complaint I had for many of Céline’s more recent songs. This one, however, I don’t feel is missing anything the way it is. There’s an energy and optimism in it that is very much the same vibe found on the EUS album.

About the voice. I don’t think it sounds anything like 2004, but it certainly doesn’t sound like ‘Courage’ either. I think people forget just how bad/forced a lot of the vocals released in 2019-2021 were. I also forget, so then I go listen to songs like “How Did You Get Here”, “Superwoman” or “I Will Be Stronger” and the difference is stark! On BMP you can hear a beautiful, classic Céline tone underlying the whole vocal, even with all of Céline’s evidently deliberate loose, ‘potato’ enunciation.

Next, I find the lyric video oddly satisfying. Not the design itself, but the concept of a lyric video for this song. I guess I just like seeing the lyrics with this one. Of course, an actual video with Céline in it is always welcome, and I’m sure it helps with charting success - I would’ve certainly liked one for “Dansons”.

Finally, I have no idea how this song will do commercially. The French market certainly has some particular tastes and trends, so let’s see.

This song is so clearly Ycare, just like “Dansons” is so clearly JJG. If that pattern holds, I can’t wait for the Santa song(s)… because I find her style to be so ‘Céline’ haha, particularly reminiscent of the albums “D’eux” and “Incognito”.

It would be a far cry from 1996 when each sibling got $100.000 for Xmas :giggle:

But then again, Céline hasn't performed in years, so she might be tight for cash too 😛 :lmao:

Haha i doubt it. Isn’t Celine a Billionaire at this point? Or close to? It’s peanuts for her.

I have actually wondered that… those automimmune drugs are like close to $100k each time iirc, and she’s flush but that could certainly take a cut out of the xmas presents

BONJOUR, PARDON, MERCI”
A NEW SONG AVAILABLE NOW

Exclusive 12” Vinyl With “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” and “Dansons” Set for Release September 4 and Available For Pre-Order Now

Today, Global icon Celine Dion returns with “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci,” her second original release this year. The sweeping new track, penned by French composer and singer-songwriter Ycare, marks the first time the pair have worked together. “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” is available worldwide now. Listen HERE.

Rooted in a simple yet profound mantra, “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” explores themes of strength and gratitude. The track blends elegance and emotional depth, signatures of both Celine and Ycare, while capturing the spirit and transformative power of connection.

On t’aime ! » - Ycare

Accompanying the release is an official animated lyric video, unveiled today. Created by Chinese Canadian motion artist Yoho Yue, the visual brings “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” to life through a visual language that reflects connection, separation, transition, and the continuous flow of human emotion, experience, and love. Watch HERE.

“Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” follows the release of “Dansons” earlier this Spring. Both tracks will also be released on a 12” vinyl, available September 4. Pre-order the vinyl here.

“Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” arrives as Celine prepares for her recently announced and long-awaited return to the stage -- an exceptional residency at Plenitude Arena (formerly Paris La Défense Arena), with 16 performances scheduled between September and October 2026. Due to overwhelming demand, 10 additional shows were subsequently announced in May 2027.

I’m not close enough to other artists releases but can anyone else confirm if other artists release new singles digitally on release day then release a physical vinyl over 2 months later? Is this normal? Can’t get my head around why the vinyl wouldn’t be out today too.

I’m sorry I can’t help with that question, but I will say this what has ever been “normal” about how this team operates?

From reliable rumors who called both months of release for “Dansons” and now “BPM” are saying that the first week of September we are to expect single #3, makes even less sense for them to wait to release this vinyl and not include the third single.

This font is so awfully ugly! Why don’t they use the Dansons style? It’s elegant. This is just crap! Her team simply sucks in every possible way.

It's been #1 in 5 countries including Portugal and Armenia.
In Canada, it's stuck at #2 because of Bryan Adams and his "51st State" song! Shame on Trump!!! Lol

Thanks for the stats, @mebe!

Maybe people know this already, but I mention it because I just learned about this recently: apparently buying the track on iTunes or other platforms counts for something like 1000 streams. So if anyone has €1.29 to help boost the numbers and hasn't already done so, please consider buying it! I bought it on iTunes but am still streaming it on Spotify, trying to do my part 😂
