I hope both, one than more new song would be incredible, but I'm also happy with one new song maybe there will be a new album with the new song(s) on it, around the film finally is released. Well we'll see, but that's something exciting. Also that most likely some of her older songs are in it, so more people will discover her through the film

I feel like the new song won’t be written by Celine herself. The way he says ‘she’s written a song’ makes me think it is indeed a brand new song, but it’s coming from someone on Celines side / team. He may have been told it’s a new song and is saying that when really he considers the songwriters and Celine to be the same thing. I’d love to be proven wrong though!

Yeah, I think he meant that she contributed one song, but not that she actually wrote it. Would be cool if she did though, but I can’t imagine that.

Yeah I got the same out of his answer. They all say she's funny but never have any stories.

He isn't really sure when the movie will come out either.

I mean people do usually save “stories” and “BTS” moments for when they actually go out on the promo circuit to promote it. I still remember going to a lot of the Comic Cons leading up to big Marvel movies (specifically the final two avengers movies) and they would be super vague when people would even ask “how was it seeing *insert cast member name* again after 2 years?” Answering it like “oh, yeah, it’s always nice to see him/her on a movie set. He/she is funny and we have a good time”. So it doesn’t surprise me that nothings been said. And wouldn’t she be on set far more with Priyanka than him anyway if it’s faithful to the source material? Also the fact that there isn’t even a movie release date yet. Normally 9-12 months after a movie is finished filming when it comes out so we’ve got a while to go yet. Also since when did a statement by someone saying that she’s wrote a new song become a “oh he doesn’t know what he’s talking about” moment? For all we know she very well could have. I agree, she very well could’ve wrote a song, most likely even co wrote a song for this movie. He keeps saying how “brilliant” the music is for the movie, so I’m excited!

I think he probably couldn't think of anything genuinely kooky she had done, or also wanted to be respectful of her and talk about the professionalism and work she had done given how iconic she is.

For people that follow music industry, artists, and/or are in fandoms yeah it's a well known fact but I come across so many reaction videos of regular people that both know and don't know who she is that think she writes her own music.
