Hey does anybody have ANY UPDATES on this movie? Did they finish filming? Is there a release date in mind or anything?

 

& another thing I am curious about... Has Celine even filmed any part (or parts if she does indeed ave more than one part in this movie) yet? There has been NO PHOTOS OR SOVIAL MEDIA POSTS about Celine filming yet, & now with her severe health problems... If she is in too bad of shape to perform concerts, that would mean she would be in NO SHAPE TO FILM ANY SCENES... So if she has not filmed anything yet, it looks like either:

 

1. They are waiting on Celine to hopefully feel better so that she can film her scene(s) so the movie release could be delayed because of that (especially if all of the other actors have already filmed their scenes & only Celine is left to film her scene(s) @ this point, but again just guessing as I have had no updates about any of this...)

The Jamie Fraser star will next be seen in a star-studded romantic comedy expected to release in cinemas next month. Outlander’s Scottish leading man will be joined by none other than Celine Dion, and Sam teased he may be getting the chance to duet with the legendary singer on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 show.

 

Sam was joined by his long-running Outlander co-star Graham McTavish to talk about their upcoming projects on Tuesday morning.

 

Zoe asked Sam about his upcoming film, Text For You, which is due out next month.

The Scottish star revealed: “It’s with Priyanka Chopra as well, it’s a lovely little romantic-comedy.”

Sam is also joined by Celine in her first major acting role.

 

 

 

He continued: “Celine Dion, I think it's the first thing she’s acted in. And she is just brilliant. She is really good.”

 

Graham and Zoe were both surprised Celine had never acted before.

 

Sam’s co-star asked: “It’s the first thing? That’s amazing; does she sing?"

 

The Outlander star teased: “She may sing. Other people may sing as well.”

His revelation prompted stunned responses from Zoe and Graham, who were eager to hear more.

 

The actor’s iconic character Jamie Fraser has sung some traditional Highland tunes and even danced, throughout the first five seasons of Outlander.

 

However, Sam’s upcoming role in Text For You could be the first time he has taken on a fully musical role.

Based on a 2016 German film of the same name, it’s still unknown just how much Celine’s singing will factor in the English-language remake.

Sorry, but 10 minutes in a movie it's not a major acting role. LOL Maybe she will get a role like in DFSLN in the future.

 

It kind of is for someone who hasn't acted in any feature length movie.

 

Sam saying she's really good was nice to read & it does suggest she has enough of a role that it is acting. But I'll wait to see because I don't want to get my hopes up about her role in the movie. If she gets 10 minutes then that's more than I expect.

& WHAT UPDATES about Celines health have you heard? Because the last time the rest of us checked, there has bern NO UPDATES whatsoever from Celine & her team in months since the announcements of the show cancellations was made (almost 2 months ago & we have not heard a peep!)

 

I have a question: were you around in 2014-2015 when Celine went on a hiatus & cancelled a WHOLE BUNCH OF SHOWS? Remember @ first we heard NOTHING from Team Celine for MONTHS... We did not hear anything from them from August 2014 (when the hiatus started,) until March 2015 (when she did an interview for "Good Morning America" & she FINALLY announced to the world why she went on that hiatus... & it was because of RENES CANCER RETURNING being the reason! Which most of us fans on social media back then had sadly suspected Renes cancer returning could be the reason for the sudden hiatus, but @ first NONE OF US really knew that as Team Celine had went COMPLETELY SILENT for the first several months of the hiatus!)

 

& with this current situation, again none of us REALLY KNOWS what is going on, this reminds me so much of 2014-2015 when she has cancelled/postponed a whole bunch of shows & it is VERY RARILY that Celine has done that over the years (& no the Pandemic of the past year & a half DOESNT COUNT as it was not Celines choice or any other performers choices to postpone/cancel shows, as everybody had to do that because of Covid-19!) I am NOT SAYING the muscle spasms (or even the menopause) issue is not the truth... But as somebody who suffers from them as well (& my mother who is in her 60s also suffers with muscle spasms,) would not by itself cause Celine to cancel/postpone a whole new residency & months worth of shows! There might be something else going on that Celine might be waiting until the right time to share with the world (just like in 2014-2015!) & again I am HOPING & PRAYING it is not the case, but I just have that feeling & many other fans do too, going by past history of Team Celines silence on things such as this (again going back to 2014-2015!)

 

& also how do you know for sure that the "Courage World Tour" will not get postponed again, or even cancelled? Uhm, Celine talked a bit about this movie a few months ago. Also, the movie is finished. Sam Heughan, the main character said that. Also, there was a private screening. Speaking of date of release we don't know anything. Hope soon!

since you have a so busy life , you should learn to be more concise and and develop your analytical mind, you would save time . the only tihing i read in your post is you are busy, the rest too long.

If updates are not posted, most of the time , nearly 100 % of the time, there is nothing new. Nobody is playing hide and seek. Ther is some posters who are generous enough to report the things that are important. Thanks to them by the way.

I didn't ask you to proofread, I asked you to try to relax. Your posts are breathless, anxiety-riddled ramblings where you're letting your imagination get the best of you. Everyone participating in this forum misses seeing Celine on screen and on stage. She'll be back when she's ready. None of us has any way of knowing for sure the timeline, but you let your imagination run wild with all this speculation about her health being really bad, how she may never come back, and on and on.. it is exhausting.

 

Just relax. We'll see her again. Probably sooner rather than later.
