I don't think we've heard anything recently. Everything seems to still be getting pushed back due to Covid. Movies aren't making much money - with the exception of Spiderman - so studios are waiting until people actually return to the movie theaters.

How can a movie with no release date, trailer, even official poster be old material? For all we know Celine might not have even filmed her part yet. It’s like saying Easy on Me is old because Adele wrote it after her divorce in 2019. Will the second Avatar movie be old when released because Cameron has been working on it for over a decade now? I don’t get the logic 🤔

This is an old news, I remember they have some photos too in which Nick is going to sit in a taxi and Priyanka tries to throw him off and sit in it...intense scene.

Well, that's not exactly new. It's been completed for many months, and release date has been generally noted as sometime in 2022 for quite some time. Question is: when?

They held cast screenings a number of months ago. If release was initially planned for around Valentine's (as it appeared was the case several months ago), what's the revised timeline, in line of Omicron-induced closings and delays? Spring, perhaps? We've already seen Aline get pushed back in the US from late Jan to April. I wouldn't be surprised if TTY is stuck in similar release limbo.

 

Per Amazon, it appears the English (and French) versions of the book is still being released in the first week of Feb. One would think they'd time this with the release of the movie as is usually the case (the book is billed as "Soon to be a major motion picture starring Sam Heughan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.") , but I guess we'll know soon enough.

I think that they had a very good plan with her Vegas comeback, a new docu, the new movie. All would happen around the same time, put her on the map again and bring her to the public eye, create a lot of hype and attention around her. But unfortunatley covid etc. messed up their plans big time and everything got postponed.

I don't think the documentary was or is anywhere near the timeline of this current era. Would probably have come out in 2023 the earliest is my guess.

 

But yes, COVID has messed up many schedules. The only real thing artists could do during this time is record new music and release it.

I believe she said that those songs are her babies and she doesn't want to give up on them. So they will ask the producers about it and if they get the consent it's gonna be the next album. I don't clearly remember.

I saw on Youtube she sang one of Elton John's lesser known songs (Blue Eyes) in an interview for a few seconds, and that is exactly what I love about Celine--her musical encylopedia is endless. We just need her to enter the Celine section!
