Personally, I do not care if the film will be having new music. That said, I'd pay money to listen to "Play me like a love song"...! 😆

 

What I am excited about is that Celine is involved in projects - she is essentially making her first step acting in a film! 🤩 Feels like her career was frozen for a good two years now, so it's good to see the Celine-machine getting back to the game! ❤️

You don't how POPULAR Priyanka is in India, like very very popular. None of her films ever went flop here. That famous! So IF Priyanka promoted the film a bit, there's a good chance it will hit India pretty well. She is doing film with my favourite singer...it's really a dream come true!

I was referencing that she “apparently” knew for a long time that the name of this movie was not a text for you, which is complete bullshit looking at her recent TV appearances referencing the name time and time again.

 

I think the woman is full of her own importance, is a crap actress and thinks she’s better than what she is, she’s one of the Jonas brothers wives ( and yes I know she hates that reference, but outside of India where she’s popular, that’s who she is! )

Not entirely true. I have friends who love both actors and have come to me excited. That sounds like a very solid view before giving it a chance.

With the way they are touting her name every single mention she has got to have a substantial part in this. I know how name dropping works though.

I think since she's referenced not only as a character but also a plot device there must be some kind of "device" that brings her to the point of meeting the romantic leads. Some kind of mishap -- a misaddressed envelope, an email, a text being delivered to the wrong phone, etc -- which culminates in Celine becoming aware of the characters and meeting them. My suspicion is that she plays a fictional version of herself in more than a few scenes and that her scenes kind of serve as a framing device for the film.

I imagine it to be exactly like the Loreal commercial, Celine being in the hotel suite and chilling, crazy dancing or dying her hair while a text appears on her phone and then ultimately they see her in her suite. At the end of the film a performance of IACBTMN at Resorts World. That's how I see it. Let's wait and see if I was right.

It it’s anything like the German original she’ll have 2 tiny scenes, about 5 lines, and 3 minutes of screen time. Plus a song in the credits. 😕

Seriously, if they’re promoting this as “a Céline Dion movie” then they better have expanded that part from the original, otherwise it’s an extreme case of false advertising…

I've been wondering recently when we're going to see scenes like that again. In Covid times, I can't imagine her feeling comfortable doing that any time soon. It's a respiratory illness, after all, and she needs her lungs at 100% more than most.
