As much as Kelly adores Celine, this would be an excellent move! And as a bonus, maybe a Kellyoke duet?!

That would be fantastic. Surely Celine must be aware of how Kelly fawns over her.

Does anybody really think Celine IS ACTUALLY COMING BACK OR NOT? In your honest opinions?

 

As it just seems like except for the announcements of show postponements/cancellations (& the "Stand up for Ukraine" video she did,) there has been ALMOST NOTHING from Celines or her Teams end for the past 2 years - no new pictures, no new videos (except for the ones I have mentioned about show cancellations/postponements & the "Stand up for Ukraine" video from 2 months ago,) pretty much radio silence from her & her team! & as much as I want to be optimistic, I just feel a sense of dread, that things might be worse behind the scenes with her health than any of us know! Which could explain why we have barely seen her or heard from her within nearly 2 years!

 

So what do you all think of this? This is a actually good discussion to talk about, especially since as there are no other Celine-related news to talk about, & most likely will not be until maybe sometime next year - if we are lucky! Thanks & have a great day!

Since they changed the title of the film after Celines song, I wonder if they filmed and added more Celine scenes than initially intended. I know the German version of the film and the singer only appears for about 3 minutes of the film. I hope Celines part got extended.

Nope 10 minutes. 5 minutes for the interview in the middle of the movie and 5 minutes for the song at the end.

lol, ok :D still, I hope Celine will have more screen time than her character in the German version. Otherwise it would be a real shame.

Who else is excited about Celine’s soon to be return from her long hiatus to recover from health issues?!

There’s some VERY exciting upcoming confirmed events and likely rumors as well, to eagerly await & anticipate:

  • Celine big return to Las Vegas at Resorts World this year! “Queen Celine” was originally scheduled to be the first performer at Resorts World, and her new show there is expected to be amazing and incredibly successful, just like her past two residences at Caesar’s Palace, the top two most successful residences of all time!
  • Celine’s official Sony music career documentary, currently in production which Celine announced, which should be an amazing retrospect of Celine’s iconic, legendary career, and will hopefully attrack a new generation of fans to Celine's amazing career catalog!
  • Celine’s big acting debut in her first movie- “It’s All Coming Back To Me”! It will be extremely exciting to see this highly anticipated movie, set to be released in early February next year! One of the main actors from the upcoming film confirmed that Celine is lending a lot of music to the film, and recorded at least one new song for the movie! Celine is the “Queen of movie songs”, and hopefully the song and soundtrack will be HUGE!! This could be Celine’s “Bodyguard” moment, if the film, soundtrack, and movie song are all successful, like Whitney had with her acting debut in “The Bodyguard”!

I’m very excited for Celine’s big return to music and performing! :happydance:

I truly hope Celine’s health has greatly improved, and that she’s excited to return, and that her voice is in top shape after all the vocal rest while she was healing!

And, I definitely hope Sony Music, Columbia Records, and Team Celine all promote and market these big moments very well in this next exciting chapter in Celine’s career! Hopefully we hear more news/announcements soon!! :)

Let’s talk about… the new upcoming music of the highly anticipated film “It’s All Coming Back To Me”, debuting in theaters in February 2023, that stars Celine in her debut acting role in a film, and it’s accompanying soundtrack album. As reported, the movie will be distributed by Sony Pictures. So, naturally the label distributing the movie soundtrack will likely be Sony Music.

 

Several sources have reported (Variety, New York Post) that Celine will star as herself, and play a mentor figure who inspires the films main characters played by Sam Heughan & Priyanka Chopra, to fall in love. Sam Heughan told Variety that Celine has recorded a NEW song for the film as well!!!

 

What Celine songs do you think might be, or should be included in the new film, & on the movie soundtrack album?

 

In addition to Celine recording a new song for the movie, Sam Heughan mentioned to Kelly Clarkson on Kelly’s talk show that Celine also has “supplied a lot of music for the movie as well”! It’s exciting to think about Celine having a new movie song, perhaps a big ballad?! That has certainly been a winning formula and huge success for Celine in the past many times! (Just look at how well Celine's "Ashes" has done that was released in 2018, one of Celine's most streamed songs of her career!).

What songs from Celine's career do you think would work well in Celine's debut film "It's All Coming Back To Me"? Here are my choices:

 

“It’s All Coming Back To Me Now”- of course it's highly likely that this classic, iconic song of Celine's will be a part of the new movie, based on the new movie title.

Based on the plot of the movie, this could be a perfect song to play in a scene when Priyanka Chopra’s character is reflecting back on previous memories with her former lover that passed away. It would also be be a great song to play again later in the movie, as the leading characters have embraced that they both truly found love again in each other, essentially saying that remembering what it’s like to be in love again, and all that comes with that is- “all coming back to” them! :wub:

  • Other than using "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", I believe it would be wise to include some of Celine's best songs that were never released as singles, so the soundtrack wouldn't seem like a greatest hits collection, AND it can be a very clever way to bring attention to some of Celine's greatest songs from a wide variety of her English Language album catalogue, that would fit parts of the film very well.

“With This Tear”- perfect song to place over a scene early in the movie that shows both leading characters feeling lonely, suffering, after they both suffered the loss of their significant other.

 

“Love Is On The Way”- the lyrics of this song could fit perfectly in a scene where character is dreaming & hoping that one day she will find love again.

 

“I Surrender”- this could be an awesome song choice to play in a scene where both leading film characters realize that they’re falling in love with each other!

Another great song could be “Falling In Love Again”! Lyrics from that song would fit perfectly, and Celine's vocals are really great! :)

 

Other songs that could possibly work well in this film are- “I Love You”, “Dreamin’ Of You”, “A World To Believe In”, "Thankful”, “How Did You Get Here” & “Courage”!

 

I think it's incredibly clever and exciting that the films name was changed/updated from "Text For You" to "It's All Coming Back To Me". At first I wasn't thrilled about the change of title, but I think it's a VERY wise decision. I think the sync licensing part of Celine's team is doing a great job with "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" in the past 5 years.

“It’s All Coming Back To Me” Sync licensing song placement in the past 5 years:

  • 2018- Applebees commercial- aired nationwide in America
  • 2019- Instagram shopping ad starring Celine- worldwide
  • 2020- NFL promotion video, aired by ESPN to promote the leagues return
  • 2021- Mar’s Wrigley’s chewing gum commercial- aired worldwide
  • 2022- The steady momentum of the song placement helped lead to a TikTok challenge that became extremely popular, and went viral, inspiring people worldwide, that included many celebrities to lip-sync to the song :D

Please provide what songs you think might be or should be in the new film, and I have to ask, do you also think one of the new songs just might be highly anticipated never yet released "Play Me Like A Love Song"? :wink: Please give your thoughts

Can’t wait! I’m really curious how she acts in this movie. Her co-actors are saying she did great in acting. And bonus is that we will have a new song for this movie.

 

We already watched her 1st acting (French TV Series) which is drama. And her cameos in the late 90’s especially “The Nanny” show which is comedy. She did great there.

 

Another reason to be excited :)

they should be out now, some of them promote stuff for the winter months, Or should be out this fall/ Next Month or so
