I think it's great to finally hear some news on the movie. Is this not the first time her social media has mentioned the movie?

Could be wrong, but can we assume ‘Love Again’ will be a new song title also? I thought It’s All Coming Back was a bit cheesey..although agreed, talk about marketing/PR disaster

I don’t think it’ll be falling in love again - on a positive note it is the first time Celine’s official account released anything to do with this which is a sign she’s not as some have said on deaths door. I suspect they held off commenting on it last year as she was in the throes of recovery . I’m so curious as to if her tour will actually go on. Maybe they scapped Feb cause she literally goes to Europe like two weeks after the premier and how can she rehearse for that and then do movie promo ? So wishful thinking but hopefully a whole new English album accompanies this movie and is released on the same

Friday May 12th. It’s Sonys movie after all the delay could be because Sony wants to have a new album from Celine at the same time and she needs more time.

 

Wishful thinking I know, but because the label is behind the movie it’s not very far fetched.

Yeah, I’m seriously hoping they just postponed the movie because she wanted to rehearse for the tour and it made more sense for her schedule for her to be able to come in and do the promo when she was off of touring. I seriously hope so!!!

This could be good regarding celines return to the tour - movie pushed back maybe cuz of scheduling conflicts and May is the only month next year where celine is “free.” She could be booked for February with rehearsals, going to Europe, and resuming the tour. obviously all assumptive but this post could be a good sign to slowly getting Céline back in the spotlight.

Wonderful to see activity on Celine's official social media. Makes me feel much better about her overall health. And I like the new title of the film. I hope both the film and the music will be very successful. I think a lot of people out there have missed Celine. She's such a treasure.

But, what IS new here is it’s the first time we see actual reporting she has “several songs in the movie” (before it was just coming from Sam).

Releasing the film around Mother's Day is a great idea.

She has a show in London on April 11th then nothing until May 31st. That means she would have a month to promote the movie before it’s released. I would love to think that’s why it’s been delayed.

 

Film was listed as Feb on the recent Sony pdf thing - could be they are planning the promo train now and it’s only come to their attention that Celine will be on tour so they’ve changed it to suit her.

Well, nothing in their Q2 filings yesterday on that (where they show key releases over next 6 months).

But that filing was already proven outdated with today’s news of a new title and release date (yesterday’s filings still had it listed as IACBTM on 2/10.)

Love Again is a pretty generic title, but I much prefer it over the cheesy use of an old track title that just ties Céline to the past yet again, regardless of how popular the song was.

 

Counter-intuitively, the delay is kind of promising in its way. The studios usually burn off projects they expect not to do well early in the year (although in this case there was the obvious tie to Valentine's Day so that likely wasn't the case). While the summer box office season doesn't really kick off until Memorial Day, a May release could be smart counter-programming to the usual action-adventure spectacles if the film has some legs beyond Mother's Day.

Yes, but we know there are extenuating circumstances regarding Celine. Now, we know she’s a producer. She probably wants to be heavily involved in the promotion. And, name changes and date changes bring attention to the project. Age old saying “No such thing as bad publicity.”
