"Love Again" movie - Official Topic

I really hope that they release a full new English album containing the movie songs and the remaining songs from the Courage sessions

So this soundtrack album could be practically a new Englisch Celine Dion album at the same time.

 

I hope the movie and soundtrack album will be received well by critics as well as fans and unlike Mariah‘s glitter soundtrack album and film. Fingers crossed!

Until the “next” delay… 😂

 

It was “supposed” to be a “Valentines” movie last delay remember.

 

This is the first delay of the movie. February was the first release date we had.

 

Movies/shows being pushed back is nothing out of the norm. They could be doing it to allow Celine to be in the promo, if she wasn't you'd then be complaining about that too (we all would). Or maybe it's not about Celine at all, maybe they don't want to compete with some other Valentine's Day movie, we don't know.

 

 

The fact that after all this time they finally directly tweeted about the movie and officially revealed that new music is coming means this news is concrete.

Oh and I am totally betting on For the Lover that I Lost and Falling in Love Again to be in the movie, or so I hope. They fit perfectly, would be good promo for Courage album, and would give us more than just a movie that uses the hits.

Yes, but we know there are extenuating circumstances regarding Celine. Now, we know she’s a producer. She probably wants to be heavily involved in the promotion. And, name changes and date changes bring attention to the project. Age old saying “No such thing as bad publicity.”

 

She’s a “producer” now is she… she can’t even be the manager of her own career despite apparently learning from Rene and we seen since Aldo how well that’s gone!

 

It’s just desperate now that this movie is simply waiting on her simply showing up at the premiere to be officially released when she’s probably in it for 5 minutes.

 

And that’s me being nice as a die hard!

 

I love her but this is f****** tragic yet she’s currently looking for French songs for a new French album despite another English album she abandoned!

But, what IS new here is it’s the first time we see actual reporting she has “several songs in the movie” (before it was just coming from Sam).

She better does Not copy the actress in the German original movie …instead of playing herself……you know what I mean….singing like Sia, Adele and the singers of the demo songs she recorded ….the same could be her approach when acting.

 

Celine could show her goofy and hilariously funny side. The comedic sidekick that makes everyone laugh and steal the scenes where she is in.

Include her more. Regardless I’m just glad that the movie release means new English music next spring, without this movie, I doubt we had a chance at new music anytime soon.

She has a show in London on April 11th then nothing until May 31st. That means she would have a month to promote the movie before it’s released. I would love to think that’s why it’s been delayed.

 

Film was listed as Feb on the recent Sony pdf thing - could be they are planning the promo train now and it’s only come to their attention that Celine will be on tour so they’ve changed it to suit her.

 

I believe the films premiere in London as well, it may work perfectly for Celine.

I’m in the camp speculating that at least a few of these “new” songs will be recycled from Courage… Particularly “Falling in Love Again”—my least favourite song from the album—because it’s right on target with the theme of the movie and it’s not out of this realm to think that they just shortened the title to “(Falling in) Love Again”. If this is the case, then I hope against all hopes that it’s been re-recorded or at least rearranged. A simple string arrangement over it, or even a more modern approach would do wonders for it.

So probably there will be the interview scene, the performance, and some scenes here and there... for sure it's not a Celine Dion movie... Hopefully she will have more presence in the soundtrack, you know, these kind of sequence like, he is walking in the park, she's looking at the window, everybody thinking, and Celine vocals on the background.. haha... (that for me is enough)

 

In the article they also mention why Sony has pushed the release:

So the marketing people watching the last cut of the film get the conclusion this movie it's more for mothers than young couples dating in valentine's day... hahaha, what I guess it's true, we are talking about Celine Dion...

 

But what I really would like to know is inside production information... even with covid here and there, this little remaked comedy shot in 2020 has been pushed for so long... and that could be for many reasons but normally none of them are for good. Maybe Celine health issues made the shooting longer, maybe covid (but seriously, more complicated movies have been made in this period), maybe the editing process have been so complicated with some reshootings because the final product did not work, or maybe the movie its so bad the producers doesn't know what to do with it, and they are going to release it just as a dead already movie and trying to get some cash of it in a special holiday... and sorry but I would bet for the last reason, but well, I don't really care about the movie, I'm happy to now that Celine is back and with some "new" music.
