Her 50s have been so fruitless I agree but this movie is clearly centering the movie around IACBTMN, they even almost named the movie after it… until they realized how corny that would be… however, the current title is pretty corny in its own right as well lol. I am excited that there will be brand new music tho, TC confirmed that awhile back… that is reassuring to know that whatever happens with Celine’s health by this spring we should at least one more release if nothing else. I think everyone should take this project for what it is….it’s not going to be a Celine Dion starring movie…. It’s gonna be a love story (possibly cringy at moments) that has some Celine music involved with a small role by Celine herself. I think it’ll be more than a couple scenes but nothing extreme… and it will be bringing us new music from Celine which in itself is worth it. In short we should be excited to see and hear Celine again from this project but let’s not expect to OSCAR buzz. If they are planning only to use IACBTM or any previous Céline song, it's kinda disappointing Actually It's all coming back to me now is on target for the audience: based on the release date (Mother's day), it seems that they are targeting women who would have been in their teens when FYI album was released. So it would make sense: women in their 40s / 50s. The song is a reminder of their youth, and then may be a trigger to get to see the movie which is a romcom. Re: younger women, we saw last year with the tick tock trend that is a popular song. It is played on radio, but people likes it. So I think it is good they market the movie with a well known song in line with the movie targets. And the bonus would be that in addition at some point they cross the bridge to add new Celine song. Question is: if Celine cannot promote the new song (no tv show), then Sony needs to be a bit innovative with social media to get it known, as it is not associated with a blockbuster movie, conversely to Ashes / Deadpool2. And that's where is maybe the problem, because innovation has not been the forte of Sony / celine marketing team. So they may think: why invest in the budget of promotion of a new song, if anyway it will not succeed... I hope I have wrong, but financially I can understand Sony somehow.
