The worst part is the shroud of sadness over all of this knowing that Céline isn't in the form she was when she was filming this film. I really wish we knew more about her condition.

 

That said, the film trailer looks exactly how I imagined.

I think it’s great! It does what it’s meant to do! It’s not trying to be Oscar material but it seems very sweet and it’s target audience will respond I’m sure 😊

Yup. It looks like a light, fun romantic comedy. I’d like to see it.

The first words from the new music, safe to say it's NOT PMLALS for those who care… but who knows more

Could be included. That line alone sounds very poignant to what Celine is going through right now.

Yes, the film and trailer are not Oscar material. But it will be a nice romantic movie.

Can't judge it yet but it seems like another slow boring forgettable song. It is neither bombastic like IACBTMN nor catchy or uptempo like TTWII which would catch with the general public.

 

The worst thing though what's the point of introducing a new song like this at all when u can barely hear it and more space is given next to a random song by another artist and then to the well-known song. I would rather have only IACBTMN in this first trailer. Another wasted opportunity. Not expecting too much now...

 

The trailer is not supposed to be promoting the new song. It’s supposed to be promoting the movie. Being the first trailer, they should use IACBTMN the most to gain people’s attention.

I think we all knew deep down this movie will just be a nice cute film, i think it was meant to get Celine’s “feet wet” for the more meaty roles that come after…. I hope she’s still able to do them if she wants. At least this film will be on her credits no matter what happens going forward.

 

I like the trailer, I like the snippet of new music… however for me this project is a bonus… I don’t set my expectations for the Meryl Streep role… I set my expectations that this film if nothing else gives us NEW music and as fans right now in the uncertain times of Celine’s health, this is a huge GIFT. let’s enjoy it!

It’s a classic cheesy Valentine’s Day/ Mothers Day romcom. It’s not an Oscar bait movie with classically trained actors in it so it’s important to take it for what it’s worth. If anything, I’m glad to see Celine in mutliple extended scenes, I’m glad to hear a new song or two and I do enjoy the new instrumental for IACMBTN

 

Also for those moaning about IACBTMN being in the trailer heavily- until 2 months ago that was quite literally going to be the movies name. It also capitalises on the songs new wave of success and public appreciation. Take it for what it’s worth.

I think the best part of this project is that it’s on brand for Celine’s target audience. It’s been a while since Celine’s chased that audience. The people who loved her brand of “love conquers all” back in the 90s, and all of her romantic and uplifting music, will love this film.

 

I hope a lot of people who loved watching Celine on Oprah and Rosie will find their way back to Celine with this movie.

 

Like others have said, it’s a nice bonus gift. It’s a sweet, simple movie with new music from Celine. Yay!

Ahhhh it was a nice wee trailer and I’m excited to watch it, just to immerse myself in Celine. It’s very her 🥰 sad that it was meant to be out today and that clearly they had some promo in place with People getting all the exclusive stuff etc. hope there’s still a good bit of promo to come nearer the release date

That won't happen cause she isn't a good actress, everything is forced and unnatural. If it was going to happen, it would have a couple of decades ago at her peak.
