I love how Sam Heughan keeps pushing the Céline Dion Stan card to new levels just Wonder how many different tshirts are we going to see throughout the promo cycle :sofunny:

 

On a purely superficial level, it should be said that there’s plenty of eye-candy on this movie… Sam Heughan, Russell Tovey, David Terry, Nick Jonas. I mean for those who feel the plot is not enough :blush:

This new song doesn’t sound exciting, but I hope for PMLALS to be featured on the soundtrack and be released with a music video with clips from the film, like Lady Gaga did with I will never love again. I also need this epic new version of IACBTMN in my life! :D

 

Also, Celine is so natural, it doesn’t look like she is acting at all! And I love her voice in the French trailer!!! It’s so sensual and beautiful!

I actually love the new song i think it has a potential to be very well received and its a soundtrack not hot 100 track

I am really looking forward to watching this. I have a feeling that this was the perfect project for Celine. Professionally she based her career on singing about love. Her ballads are epic and always related to love. Personally she lived one of the most amazing love stories ever. I love when she says,'it might be crazy but love doesn't always follow the rules' .I believe that this romcom will be great with her.

 

Word, I loved that line… Thinking this might be intensely personal (and cathartic?) for her… and that she’ll bring a lot to the role like you say!

I would not argue, though. Perhaps when she acts, she does not speak the same as when she's been interviewed.

There's a point in the trailer where Celine is on stage and she says "how's it going with the unknown texter" and it sounds like her voice was dubbed over by someone else. Weird.

That's 100% her.

I love her voice over in French, it's deep and confident. Makes me really wish for her to do a drama film in French.

Didn’t they say that Céline will feature few new songs for the movie? So, maybe it’s not just the song “Love Again”, that was written for the movie.

The French voice is absolutely her. To me it screams her current natural voice level and sounds the exact same as she did during the Quebec shows on the courage tour- sort of husky and lower. I like it a lot.

BTW, sometimes clips we see in trailer, does not mean it will be part of the movie. Some are just scenes that were deleted from the movie and sometimes the voices are different from the actual movie than the trailer like intonations, etc. and the lines sometimes they change it.

 

I hope that Céline will sing “Love Again” in the movie. Like on stage that will add more screen time for Céline and it adds emotional scene too. Singing on stage - people watching - listening to the singer. Both main characters listening.

Yes like perhaps in the trailer it's not really her voice but in the actual movie it is. :-D

Now, I'm as excited for the music video that she will make for her new song.

If any music videos do come, they'll likely be just set to clips from the movie- let's not forget this was all filmed at the height of covid and Celine wasn't the best with music videos pre-covid. There's also the chance none were filmed before her health issues arose. I, for one, am more so happy to just see recent-ish footage of her and some new songs.

 

If I'm not wrong the end of the original movie was practically a music video with the protagonists on set while the credits start to appear.

As expected, Celine didn’t really “hang” with cast… she did her parts and fled.

I’m really hoping she’s well enough to attend the premiere with the cast and do promotion in the coming months.

Well her part in the movie is not as much as Priyanka and Sam.

And looking at the songs, SMS Für Dich had a romantic theme song and the closing more upbeat song...so maybe we can hope for at least two new songs. But then of course they didn't have THE Céline Dion on cast/production.... they'll be mad not to have more songs.
