The New Song, will be on trailer tomorrow or next to the movie on Cinema? :hmm:

Since this movie is about the singer celine dion, I really hope they have the 90s Celine in their mind.

And that the music is all about notes and drama.

I would like them to explore Céline's more cool side instead of the typical love ballads people associate her with, but anything is fine as long as it's Celine

I do not think so. I believe the songs need to be somehow linked to the content of the film. That said, we might be getting few leftovers. It also seems we will be getting a new IACBTMN version which is a very smart approach! It is as if they give new life to a timeless classic - it's so invigorating and will help introduce the song to a new audience or simply remind people of how much of a classic it is. I would not even mind a new version of ''Falling In Love Again'' that seems to fit the film perfectly. Edited by LukeD

I agree with mirage on this one. Celine and cool do not go together - she tried to do it in One Heart, Taking Chances, Loved Me Back To Life and Courage and she basically failed for the most part. We either got average material or average interpretations. Her last good selling album was ANDHC and this was the last time we got Celine in her most authentic self. It is also remarkable how well this record has aged considering it was a good seller back in the day, but not the blockbuster FIY, LTAL, ATW were. Now, 'I'm Alive' and 'A New Day Has Come' are among her most streamed songs. Edited by LukeD

Yeah, usually on Fridays, but, for example, Lana del Rey is releasing a song tomorrow, for Valentine's Day.

definitely. I wouldn’t call them leftovers though. I think she recorded all the songs during these 2018 sessions with a particular purpose in mind and many have not been released yet, and the movie has most certainly been in the plans when she recorded the songs. So yes, I think these upcoming songs stem from those sessions. I’m sure there are some real gems that we now get to hear. Edited by ryba

No matter how we cut it… if a song hasn’t been released, then it’s new Music…. If the question is when was it recorded, I’d bet money that they were recorded during the courage sessions/ era.

I’m sure she does…. If these songs were good enough to include in a movie and as a stand alone project for the film, I’d like to think that they were deliberately left aside to include in this project or otherwise they would’ve been released for the “Courage” album. To me it doesn’t make sense to use songs for a movie that weren’t good enough to include on the album, so I’m hoping that whatever is included are some of the best that were recorded. There’s no doubt that this movie will have more exposure than her album did.

It says NEW MUSIC!
This leads me to believe it may be more than one song as if it were just one would they now say New Song. Fingers crossed.

One would hope, but I honestly doubt it.

 

Sam and Priyanka are doing a interview with PEOPLE tomorrow on Instagram live, which would be something that Celine could possibly do from the comfort of her home and yet she isn’t taking part tomorrow, so I’d doubt if she’s not doing something like that, that she would do any in studio press like the late night shows etc..

That post is considering she’s at home. However with technology, if she felt up to it she could partake anywhere, be it from her home, a medical facility, hotel, etc.

 

 

Unless Celine is in really bad shape ( which I hope not) she’s MOST likely probably staying in a rented space or hotel while being away from home. Unless super serious at the moment, I’d like hope and think she’s not staying nightly in the facility but more so attending treatments daily.

I think she looks good, but at the same time a little tired/worn down. Love the jean jacket.
